Soul lifting, professional, and run by the best in the city. I’ve been able to transform my mind body and spirit through this studio and the practice. If you’re on the fence about giving it a go, jump head first you won’t regret it.

Lauren Vestal’s 0545 class this morning was just the start to my day I didn’t know I needed! Her energy is infectious and her smile and excitement will bring me back every time. Thank you Lauren for your assists and your energy during class! There’s not many things I will wake up that early for, but you sure did make it worth it. 5 starts is certainly not enough. ♥️

I love Hot Yoga Plus - they offer a variety of classes, from espresso flow to power flow to restorative yin and yang. All levels are welcome; as a newbie, I certainly get motivated to improve my practice when I flow with other yogis!

I've been looking for a stop in Memphis and this is it! Hot, but not too hot (96ish), high variety in classes, modern music, cool color changing lights, loving it!!

I was a member at HYP Nashville for a couple of years and was sorry to hear that they were closing their Nashville location. With that said, their customer service during the last six months in business was horrible. For months before they announced their closure, I tried to get in touch with someone who worked there for questions regarding my membership and COVID safety with no response. I called and emailed multiple times with zero communication. When I received the email announcing the close, I tried to get in touch again to find out how they were reimbursing for unused memberships, and again, no response at all. I eventually filed a dispute with my credit card to get the money back, and to this day have heard nothing from HYP. **If you are considering a membership here, be forwarned that their communication has been unacceptable, no refunds were issued or even discussed in the midst of this global health crisis, and COVID safety was grossly mishandled.

I had the pleasure of attending the 5:45am class with Lauren after an invitation of a co-worker at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I had the pleasure of attending the 5:45am class with Lauren after an invitation of a co-worker at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As a newbie on the mat (third time ever) and knowing this was a more challenging class I was a little apprehensive. Lauren took all those concerns away and was so kind and easy to approach. The class does get a little crowded but even as a newbie I never felt uncomfortable or out of space. I can’t recommend this studio enough. Clean and modern environment and a staff that makes yoga approachable yet challenging, no matter your skill level.

One of the best yoga classes I've taken in a while! What I walked into was totally different than expected. I liked that the rooms are small and you can do the class with two other people or solo if preferred. I initially thought the instructor would be present in person, meanwhile you watch the class on screen emulating the poses you see on video. The room gets really hot but you push through the exercise to get the full experience. I would definitely try it again!

The tremendous positive energy at this place still has me reeling from the class I took last Thursday with Margeaux. I'm a long time daily practitioner of hot yoga at another local studio, so I say this with a little sadness. HYP has created something truly exceptional. The teachers are so deeply talented and amazing without of a hint of judgment -- they are there to help you grow in your practice, have a great time and be safe. The students are very friendly and supportive of each other, plus welcoming of newcomers of all levels of practice. The studios are clean, perfectly lit and have great sound systems with plenty of bass (and the tracks the teachers play are DJ-style great). The rest of the space is also very well done, and even has an outdoor patio fenced in for privacy with comfortable furniture for gathering before and after class. They've got a large selection of drinks including local cold-pressed juices and kumbucha and even my fave Topo. It's not lost on me how hard it is to get all these details right but they've done it here. And the community they are building as a result is something truly rare and inspirational.

Taylor Somerville’s Fire and Ice class was amazing. It was very hard and I only lasted 90 seconds in the ice each time but it has challenged me to work harder on my breath-work practice.
