Very bad service, I arrived because everything was at a discount and the cashier did not apply it and half a horrible treatment, discriminating against me because she does not speak English and I communicated with her through the translator, a place not recommended

This store is ridiculous. I went to pick up my orders using curbside pick up. It was marked as “picked up” then an employee, the manager, David, came out to my car saying they couldn’t find my orders and asked me to come inside. I didn’t plan on going inside the store, which is why I did curbside pickup. I had to take my toddler inside, standing in a long line. Once I came inside, he said they still can’t find it. I ended up leaving without a refund or my items!!! I told him that makes no sense, it was marked as picked up so now you guys have taken my money and I do not have my items. I left the store without my money or items! He refused to process a refund on the spot when it was his fault for marking the items as picked up when they hadn’t even found my items yet!
He assured me I’d get a refund & he would reach out again. That never happened. I never heard anything from this store. I had to call JcPenny’s customer service days later to file a complaint to receive my refund. That’s ridiculous. Do not mark orders as picked up just to say you can’t find the items and then refuse to refund the customer for your mistake! I spent almost an hour of my time being wasted with this situation. Avoid pick up at this store!

My online order fulfillment went a lot faster than I had originally planned but the actual pick-up process felt a little unorganized and took way longer than most already filled orders go. The place is well organized and the floors are very "JC Penny-ish" This location also has a huge floorplan and a great selection.

I have multiple fractured vertebrae in my back from a severe car accident, which limits the amount of time I can walk and stand. I was shopping in store today without issue until I was ready to check out. There were 3 cashiers moving at a slow pace, with close to 20 people in the que, which wasn't moving. After standing for some time I was in pain and had to sit down or fall down, so I briefly sat on the corner of a table (maybe a minute.) At which time an employee approached me and said I can't sit there, so I said that I would sit in the floor. She said I couldn't sit there either that I needed to stand and remain in line. I told her my situation and and suggested that she could reshelve my cart of merchandise and I would leave.

I'm NOT HAPPY. I normally purchase my jewelry from this location and have absolutely no worries at all. This time I purchased a ring with a value over $1,200 and it had to be sent off for sizing. When my ring returned, it was a matter of days before it randomly decided to split in half as though it was repaired with plaster. Lucky for me I have the warranty for it but the only thing done by JCPenny is more request to do employees surveys. How about an apology for the inconvenience and lack of quality, a gift certificate to return etc. I don't desire a shopping spree by far but empathy to show you understand as though you're a customer and sympathy for my experience as the customer would be nice. Needless to say, I'm back waiting another 6 weeks for something I've already waited 6 weeks for after original purchase and even then I had to call and check on my ring, because no one called me to tell me it was even back in the store for pick-up.
