I hate that I didn’t get the man’s name, but I lost my purse 2.5 weeks ago at this location and after calling and visiting the store multiple times and being told they haven’t seen or found it, an older man who works up front took it upon himself to call me to let me know they have had it the whole time. I can not thank him enough. He was such a sweetheart and definitely a blessing.

Highlighting bizarre alcohol purchase rules. I could not purchase alcohol using an international drivers license at this Kroger. I have used this anywhere else, and the kind cashier even said you can go buy this anywhere else in town but here. Poor business Kroger.

To frequently shop here, sometimes multiple trips in a week, I would say today’s experience deserves ZERO stars and a call to corporate for the actions of the seafood department! We asked if they had some particular snow crabs in the back as the ones on display were sold out. The seafood guy, who was black, said that they did and went to retrieve the two boxes that I asked for. It took him an unusual amount of time to get it. When he came, he handed us ONE EMPTY BOX of crab legs. Then asked, if we didn’t mind, could we go upfront and pay first, then bring the receipt back as proof of purchase. Afterwards, he would give us the crab legs. He never explained that it was necessary because people have been stealing them, yet we assumed that’s what it was. We agreed. I stayed back, while my dad went to pay for our entire purchase and bring the receipt back. When my dad returned, another patron who was white(Caucasian) asked my dad where he found them at as he didn’t see any? My dad told him it was an empty box and explained why and told him to ask the guy to bring him some from the back as well. So the white male did and the seafood guy went to retrieve his boxes first and handed it to him WITH THE CRABLEGS INSIDE! The white male stood stunned and asked him was it okay for him to get the crablegs because he thought he needed to go pay for them first as my dad explained. The seafood guy told him NO and let him go on!!! My dad is over 50yrs old, clean cut and nicely dressed, but because of his BLACK SKIN, he can’t be trusted?!?! DISCRIMINATING AGAINST YOUR OWN KIND AS IF HE COULDNT STEAL OR WHITE PEOPLE DONT STEAL! The rules should be UNIVERSAL AND APPLY TO EVERYONE!

We shop at this Kroger all the time. Why did the AA male worker in the Seafood Dept want to act racist today!
I asked him if they had any more of the boxes of crab legs left? They now keep them in the freezer inside the seafood dept. I understand that because people do steal them, but we’re not those individuals! I asked for 2 boxes and although the freezer was right there, it was taking him a long time to give them to me. Finally he hands me an empty box and says “can you take this box up there and pay for them first?” “Then bring the receipt back to him.” After we pay for our grocery which was $178, my husband took the empty box and receipt back to get them. It was a Caucasian male who asked him where did he get them from? He explained to him that the box was empty and he had to pay for them first before they would give them to him. The same AA male worker asked him if he could help him. He also asked for a box of crab legs and was given one with no problems or questions asked. The Caucasian male confused I guess because he had just been told we had to pay for ours first. He asked the employee “are you sure this is ok?” The employee told him, yes that was fine!
So now I figured out the reason it took him so long to give me that empty box. He was trying to decide if I was going to steal them versus paying for them? He took the bag out of the box, then handed me the empty box!!
Who’s to say the white man wasn’t gone to steal the 2 boxes he had?!
I spent almost $200 in this damn store, so why would I need to steal $40 worth of merchandise?
If you’re going to make the black Americans pay for theirs first, make all other races pay for theirs too!!
Instead you decided to racially profile and discriminate against us!!
It be your own people!!!
I mentioned it to the manager before leaving out the store. She said she was about to go and talk to him about it. Who knows if she really did or not?!

Exactly what I expected from Kroger!! It was a clean store and has a Starbucks that has a Great Chai Tea. Some people don't know what they're doing apparently.... the lady here in the AM does!

Best Kroger in Memphis. The store is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, with the in-store Starbucks employees being the exception. I don't buy coffee at this kiosk anymore. This seems to be a trend at Starbucks everywhere in Memphis though. The produce section is usually stocked well with fresh fruits and vegetables, and the selection is excellent. I love shopping here.

Someone in management please tell MiMi from the Drew Carey Show to STOP racially profiling Kroger’s patrons. I am a black woman who stopped in for a few items so I chose to use self checkout. As I was ringing my items up she came over to my register and first looked into my nephews car seat (he’s six months old) and then proceeded to take my fish from my hands and ring it up herself. This is the same woman with a foreign accent who was rude to me when she was working in customer service just two weeks prior. A different less classy customer WILL NOT be as tolerant of this employee’s behavior. Y’all better have a talk with her A S A P !
Her name is E R I K A

Came here for the great kosher and deli selection.
I was very pleased to find out that the kosher products were not expired and they were offering sushi, freshly cut meat, cutlets and chicken.

Great manager, mostly awesome and helpful staff (props to the meat department crew!), great selection, and fair prices. Definitely sign up for their Rewards program! Between saving on most items for just using the Rewards card, there are also digital coupons, and you can use your fuel points to save up to $1.00 a gallon (up to 35 gallons per fueling).

This store is full of "racist" ladies.
One day they didn't sell me flu medicine with my passport and now I tried to buy beer and they wouldn't accept my passport either.
Today's lady told me: This is the USA, I can't sell to you with that identification.
I told him that I never had a problem with that at other Krogers.
And he just said he was sorry.
It's something stupid, I told him why the police accept my passport and you don't.
He said sorry again.
