Visit Lenny’s on Shelby drive & had a very bad experience! Cashier was rude and unprofessional. Cashier didn’t redeem our rewards for a free combo . Mgr didn’t know how to refund our money back. He stated he had to call someone for a refund. Been coming here for years and today show me to take money elsewhere. Bulletin board material at my job.

The store location on spotswood avenue in Memphis Tennessee. The phone has been disconnected for quite some time and yet I get lied to by someone in corporate that the store is still open. I cannot leave my job as I work security. I can't reach anybody in corporate to speak to. Can someone acknowledge the fact that the store is open for business or it's shut down? It's really that simple.

We had Lenny's subs yesterday for lunch. The ham sub was really good. The fillings were fresh and the bread was soft. Will definitely return.

I cannot warn people enough not to visit this location. I visited this location on 8/15 with my husband. I had earned a free 7.5” sub with Lenny’s rewards and wanted to use this reward towards the purchase. I ordered a 5” sub and a combo. My husband started to order a 7.5” sub as I pulled up the reward on my app. Mike (the franchise owner) stopped my husband and said he needed to split the order. He had decided the 5” sub should be the free one when we have a free 7.5” sub. After paying for the 5” combo ($3 and some change) he refused to give me my receipt so I could get any rewards claiming that since I had a free sub, I wouldn’t get rewards. There is signage in the restaurant that states $1-1 point. So then we had to pay for the 7.5” sub and Mike pressured my husband into a combo like he does to every customer. While I understand this is maybe 50 cents difference between a free 5” or 7.5” sandwich, if this process of cheating 100 customers money, his store is earning $50 it does not deserve. When I returned to work, I filled out a questionnaire to Lenny’s corporate to see what the corporate policies were for earning points and how they select the free sub when 2 different sizes are ordered a reward is being redeemed. Mike proceeds to call me (because unfortunately he took the liberty to use the contact information that is entered in the corporate form) and yell at me saying the same things he said in the store. I have read through the FAQ’s for rewards and nowhere did I see anything about how if you redeem a reward you don’t get the points towards the chip and drinks combo. It clearly says $1 = 1 point. It also doesn’t say anything about how if you order a 5” and 7.5” when redeeming a reward that the less expensive sub will be free. I submitted this request because I wanted clarification from corporate, not from a rude owner. This isn’t the first time we have had problems in his store. He is regularly very rude and condescending to his employees. (on a side note, those employees are the only good thing about this store). One time we went and my husband just wanted a cup for water with his sub while I got a soda. Mike lectured me about how refills aren’t free since I guess he thought we were going to share the soda. Nope, my husband really just wanted a water and I hadn’t even filled my drink the first time! Lastly, the food is far worse than any other Lenny’s I have visited. There is less meat and toppings compared to any other location. After Mike yelled at me, I called and left a message with corporate and still haven’t heard back. The only reason this location is still open is because it’s in a busy part of town being right next to the VA, Regional One, and UT. Please, do not give this Lenny’s location any business. You will regret the money you spent on subpar food and horrible customer service.

This shop is obviously in the medical district and you don’t have a lot of food options. The prices are higher than other locations. They even charge seventy-five cents extra for A slice of cheese on your sandwich. I had the five inch tuna. It was good at the time, but I’m regretting it now. The place is clean. Can’t say much for the staff. The parking lot is difficult to get in and out of. I won’t be back.
