Lost our cat 3 weeks ago. He went out and did not return. Unfortunately he was not there. They had lots of cats that need a good home. Close to the interstate. Visit them.

Staff were nice and helpful, building was clean, animals seemed cared for, they were packed, very busy, the parking was stressful and not quite adequate for the location

This is a very, very high kill shelter. They recieve huge amounts in funding and have zero transparency. Dogs are placed on the euthanasia list with no warning and no reason. They label good, sweet dogs as aggressive to easily kill them. Do not bring a dog here and expect it to live. As an owner surrendering your dog you are sentencing this dog to death. They do not give your dog any time to find an adopter or rescue as it isn't a stray and doesn't require a 72hr holding period. Find another shelter please!

having a dog come in two days ago, offering no opportunity for a foster home, and then sending him straight to the euth list is absolutely insane. don’t even bother taking them if that’s all you’re gonna do, owners will be better off just posting in local facebook groups. TWO DAYS IS CRAZY.

Y’all seriously need to work on timeliness when it comes to rescuing animals. I have called TWO DAYS IN A ROW about two (now three) dogs that are starving to death and freezing in a cemetery and y’all have done absolutely nothing to help. You showed up hours after I called the first time and the dogs were nowhere to be found by the time you arrived. You have yet to show up 2 hours after calling a second day in a row after the dogs have reappeared. Two of the dogs are aggressive and have been interrupting funerals and trying to bite people, and I EXPLICITLY STATED THIS to you all when I called the animal control line. Like seriously? Come tf on. Starving, cold animals should take priority. Especially if they are trying to bite others and are interfering with a business’s services. You clearly are not concerned about the lives of these animals, otherwise time would be of the essence and you would be here in a somewhat timely manner, not 2+ hours after being contacted. Either hire more hands or stop offering the rescue service if you’re not going to be punctual when an animal’s life and the safety of humans are both on the line

Very rude customer service, I hope for better service for others... Some of the staff was kind, but I thought this was a place to go to adopt...
