I had my car refinanced through the city of Memphis city credit union . I purchased the gap insurance . My car was stolen. Their gap insurance only paid a percentage of what the car is worth . Leaving me a balance.Then the credit still charged interested each day on balance. I will tell anyone who purchased a car through the Memphis City Credit union not to do it . When it come down to them working with you they don’t care. They took their time filing the papers. They don’t communicate with you about anything. I had to call them..now I’m struggling to pay a balance that gap should have paid off .Never again.As far a car through them never again..

Car loans, personal loans, vacation loans, and debt consolidation loans. They have helped me with all. I appreciate my Credit Union. They helped boost my credit score and put me on track. I was behind in life due to incarceration. They put me in position so that I wouldn't give up. They showed me the way an coached me through the process. I'm blessed. Thank y'all

Employess at Memphis Employees Credit Union are friendly and always helpful. I had a small issue with my account. Candance and Branch Manager Kawaan Wilks assisted me and the issue was quickly resolved.

I thought the credit union was here to help you, but instead they never help me. I bought a suv and I wanted them to finance it, however, they turned me downn so I ended up buying directly from the dealership. So, then I went back to them within my 3 day purchase time-frame for them to pick it up but I was told that I had to make 3 months payments then refinance with them. Another issue I had with them I was trying to get a credit card with them so that I can close my other one because of the high interest rate. My current credit card has a spending balance of $7000 dollars, so I asked if I could keep something with that limit and they turned me down completely. My credit score is high and I have the income because I work for the government. So, I don't know why they keep denying me. I'm leaving them because they are useless to me. I still have to use my main bank for major things so I don't see a point in having my money with them.

Pay attention for after using your debit card it states it will come out immediately however some transactions are held to see if you'll be short some amount even 30 cents so they can charge you a $25 coverage fee. The transactions appear but delete over the weekend then reappear after fees appear. Shady!!!!

Horrible Bank experience! Not one question I had about my accounts were answered. I was given the run around only to have the Bank say we're sorry for the inconvenience. I do not recommend you bank here!

When I called to get an increase for my debit card allowance I spoke with Tiffany in the call center. I did not appreciate her impatient tone while explaining the process. I've been a member for over 30yrs and I've never had anyone to be rude to me.

I do not recommend having them as your bank. The manager is beyond unprofessional and rude. Save yourself some time and go with a different bank.

Please do not conduct your banking here they are rude, aggressive, and highly unprofessional. I have an account with them and a credit card. Unfortunately I got behind on my credit card and would not work with me, which is surprising since we are in a pandemic and many people have fallen on hard times. They did not want to hear it and closed the card and put a hold on my account for the full balance when I was only 3 months behind. I made a payment for the amount that was due plus some extra along with it thinking it will catch me up and everything will be fine but No! They still want the full balance due and everyone I speak with has a rude undertone even then managers. Looks like nothing can be done, but I just wanted people who were thinking about banking with them to heavily reconsider because this business has no empathy for no one. I should have just stayed with Regions they have more compassion.
