Dr. Amy Moffatt came to our house in an after hours call to euthanize our kitty, Annie. We were so sad to see her go but Dr. Moffatt was kind, considerate, patient and thorough. We so appreciated her availability to help us out during a very trying time. I highly recommend her service.

I recently had to put my 17 yo baby to sleep and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. My sweet angel had very bad anxiety and I did not want him to pass away stressed out on a cold hard table. I am so grateful for Dr. Moffatt for making this transition so peaceful. My baby passed away at home where he felt safe and was surrounded by love.If you must make this hard decision, I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Moffat. She is very kind, calm and truly cares about your pet.

Dr. Moffat & her assistant came to our home to euthanize our beloved 18 year old cat. They were completely professional and compassionate. It was an agonizing decision to request the euthanasia, but she was suffering and it was the right thing to do. I highly recommend Mobile Vet Memphis.

This is one of best veterinary services . We had rotwielder.that to be put down. They came to examine him and found that he torn ACL And internall bleeding from a ruptured spleen. So after examining him they decided thatWas that was the bed thing for him.

My dog was euthanized on 5/2/23. I was told they do not offer an oral sedative for the dog prior to euthanizing him like another home euthanasia business does. I reluctantly agreed even though I thought about canceling. Sure enough, the sedative they used was an injection that hurt my dog. He cried and tried to bite them. Then he got nervous and started shaking. I hate that his last moments were full of fear. The other company uses an oral sedative in a chocolate cupcake that allows the dog to drift off to sleep before being injected. The ladies were kind but I didn’t get a real sense of empathy like I did when speaking with the other company. They did not ask me if I was ready or if I had enough time with my baby before proceeding. In addition, I was overcharged initially before notifying them they had charged too much. I will not use them again and just wish I could do his last moments over again.

We had a great first experience with Mobile Vet Memphis today. My senior dog has mobility issues so we were so happy to find someone to come to our home. They were patient and took their time with my old boy and also me with my alllll kinds of questions. Bear can be kinda aloof with strangers, but seemed to really like them and all of their pettings. :) Price was also very reasonable. We will continue using them for all of his needs!

Dr. Moffat and the technician were kind and gentle with my pet during the euthanasia process. I wish the technician had also treated me kindly upon arrival at my home. She came to my door and immediately handed me a tablet opened to a signature screen, and said, "Sign here". I stopped her and said I need to review before signing. She showed me the previous screen, which was a release from liability and an acknowledgement that the "euthanasia protocol" had been explained to me. The euthanasia protocol had not been explained to me. I asked about it, and the tech explained the order in which the drugs would be used. I signed the form, and the tech requested payment. I paid, and Dr. Moffat then came inside to begin the process.I understand the need for efficiency since this is a mobile business, but I would have appreciated a little compassion at the beginning of the visit. They did express their condolences as they left.

We had to put our 19 year old cat down today and we just really appreciate the service that they offer. The tech and the veterinarian were very kind and explained things very well to us. Euthanizing an animal is not anything anyone wants to do. But they provided a kindness to us and our pet by allowing her to pass peacefully and comfortably in our home - and we will always be grateful! Thank you so much.

We did not shop around for at home euthanasia. The reviews for mobilevet worked for us. The cost is more than $200, but I won't be specific because I believe it's based on the weight of the animal. They require a $55 deposit. They will refund you $50 if you need to cancel with 24 hours notice. They give you a 2-3 hour window when they'll arrive. When you're counting down the minutes, it's pretty agonizing. They ask for payment as soon as they enter your home so you better be ready for that and get yourself together. If you want this to be easier, ask your regular vet or vet consultant about getting an ointment to numb the pet's arm. That was the worst part. It haunts me. I wake up in the night screaming NOOOOO! right at the moment they are going to euthanize him. For obvious reasons at-home euthanizing is a comfort to the pet, at least you hope so, as they would be scared at the vet where nothing good ever happens to them, but it wasn't pain-free for my dog or for me. I don't know what the best option is, but I think if your pet is ready, this is a good option to consider.

I was not aware this service was available but there it was a link put on a site, and me finding it at a time when I needed it most.My sincere appreciation to Doctor and staff for immediate attention to our need of service. Happy's was in a place of comfort, me holding him once he was given meds to relax him. The outcries of pain went away and I was able to hold him, hug him and listen to him snore, he was calm, peaceful and right where he loved laying...on my chest. Then came the time for him to get the final shot. He just slipped away, so peacefully.I recommend in home Euthanasia to everyone! It is personal, you plan it in an environment most comfortable for you, your family and beloved pet.Thank you for making Happy's transition less anxious for him and me. I will never forget the experience. He soul is resting.Ellane
