Decent branch I guess; not usually busy. They aren't that bad overall if you just want a simple checking account, but trying to get a loan or any other service with them to build credit is like pulling teeth. Then you can wait 2 weeks for a letter explaining why or sit on the phone for hours waiting for a representative. Unfortunately, they are more bottom-line focused than member focused. Planning to close my account soon and try another credit union.

Waited on hold for damn near 30 minutes for nothing more than once after I had spoken to someone that was no help AT ALL

Hate this location & mill branch location , the BEST location is on poplar . ATM ALWAYS out of service , literally 95% of the time . Very inconveniencing ! I always have to use the First Tennessee ATM accross the street and that cost me a extra 4 dollar INCONVENIENCE FEE !! Worse bank I’ve ever been with in my life

Complete incompetence at this bank. There is no customer service. They do not answer the phone - you may wait 30 minutes or more and still not get through. You can leave your number for a callback. Good luck with that - I never received a callback. They do not have a secure drop box or upload capability and expect you to attach plain text documents with sensitive information via email! This tells me that they have no concept of digital security and could be the easy target of a hacker. With so many other banks in the area, why bother with this one since it is a risky and frustrating place to do your banking.

They took forever, so I sat there an hour, only for them to tell me to apply online because they were closing and when I applied online my app was denied.

I LOVE my ORION. I refer to it as mine, because this is the branch I would go to when it was on S. Perkins and Knight Arnold. Now, that it's on American Way, I could walk to it, if I like. Very friendly and helpful tellers, advisors, and you just gotta love Mr. Porter...BEST SECURITY GUARD EVER!

This is one of the greatest Orion Branches around! Michelle for years have kept things running smooth at this branch, I miss her when she's circulated to the other branches.. Whenever she is around you can feel certain that you will have an excellent experience. She certainly knows her business craft and is an asset to the members. The other associates are also friendly, efficient and reliable when it comes to business transactions. The efficiency and attentiveness is tops. Even their security people are nice and will spoil you with good southern hospitality. Thanks Orion for hiring people of greatness. P.S., It would be nice to set up the cold water display in the summer like they use to and offer the hot chocolate and coffee in the winter. I understand the economy has crash a few things but I do miss those treats.
