I took my daddy’s truck there on February 3, 2024….. customer service poor! The workers were walking around like they had nothing to do… and the worst part about it they did not acknowledge me when I walked in to say ma’am, can we help you no one said that I had to wait at the desk and go out and look outside the se. Can I find anyone to come inside and help me! They were not concerned about customers that was there waiting. I spoke with an older lady, and she said she had been at three hours waiting on it and they Are busy…. I took my dad‘s SUV there to get an oil change and I asked them to let me know about his passenger side front. Because I believe the axle or something was broken or messed up.… I asked him to check his tires to let me know what did he need…. When I got my dad’s SUV home, he had a oil leak so bad it was ridiculous and I just had an oil change with them… no one ever told me that my dad axle on the front passenger side was brokenNo one told me that his tire on the driver side was damagedThey charge me for doing a diagnostic test on his car, but gave me POOR Information!! The only thing they say it was my dad needed two new tires for the BackI highly do not recommend this location AT ALL!If my daddy had kept driving this vehicle, he could’ve easily, hurt himself or someone else on the streets!P.S. IT’S VERY SAD THAT I HAD TO LEAVE A ⭐️ JUST TO POSTBE IT’S A ZERO FOR ME!THAT OFFICE NEEDS TO CLEAN OUT WITH PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY CARE!!

I called and spoke with Nathan to have my vehicle checked. He told me to bring it in on Tuesday evening. I brought it in that evening and it didn't get checked until Wednesday evening. While I was checking my vehicle in he just had me standing there, wasn't saying anything then started joking and playing with the young lady there that works at the desk. If that wasn't unprofessional enough, he stopped working on the computer to talk to the mechanic for 10 minutes about another vehicle just leaving me standing there. When he came back he just sat down, didn't say anything so I asked was I done he replied no I need you to sign something. He sent a link to my phone to check the progress on my vehicle but never sent any updates to the link causing me to call. When I called the lady said one thing so I went to the shop. The younger mechanic telling me one thing then the older mechanic telling me another. The staff isunprofessional and no one is on the right page. I called the following day for an update the manager said he will call back but never did. I wouldn't recommend a tire change from these people. They were telling sex jokes and cursing the entire time I sat in the lobby. They get no stars and I will never return to this location .

Yesterday I scheduled an appointment for 8am January 12th to have a wheel alignment. I'm an existing customer with a lifetime warranty. The day of my appointment, prior to the scheduled time, I called the Frayser Boulevard location in Memphis, TN and asked the supervisor Nate/Nathaniel or whatever his name is, was I still good to come in at 8am for the wheel alignment. He stated I was and he would see me shortly.A few minutes later, he called me back to see what location I'd gone to before so he can get the info from the previous store and we hung up. When I got here, he told me that the location I'd given him didn't have my info. I'd accidentally given him the wrong store and we got it corrected. I arrived around 810 due to heavy rain. When I gave him my keys, I asked him how long it would take. He then answered that it would take about an hour to an hour and a half.The reason I'm coming to get the alignment is before heading out of town to my father's funeral. I have things to complete before heading out of town. At 10am, the supervisor Nate comes to me and tells me that his tech just clocked in and now they were about to start on my vehicle. Now I have to wait another hour to an hour and a half.Why didn't he tell me this prior to my arrival when I called to see if it was ok for me to still come at my scheduled time? Why didnt he tell me his tech wasn't here when I got here? Why didnt he tell me a few minutes after I got here that the tech wasnt here? Why wouldn't he tell me this so I could leave the vehicle? Why didn't he tell me so I could make the decision to leave and come back when the tech arrived? Why didn't he tell me as if my time wasn't precious?He didn't apologize. He was nonchalant. He did not care that he wasted my time. He did not care that I wasted time sitting for a vehicle when I have other responsibilities for my father's funeral and wake. Being here a majority of the day interfered with responsibilities and I can't get that time back or make things right. I am furious. I am even more pissed on him not showing no signs of caring.

We experienced an unfortunate incident driving on the interstate through Memphis. We managed to make it to Pep Boys on Frayser Blvd. with our accessible van and two disabled children. This store went out of their way to help us, assisted us in finding an accessible ride to a hotel and stayed late so we didn’t have to wait outside.

Pep boys on frayser blvd in Memphis were a waste of time. Kept my truck for 8 days with no updates or follow ups. Had to get it towed to another mechanic because of how unprofessional they were.

The customer service at this location was amazing! They did everything I needed done to my vehicle in a good time and I didn’t feel like I was being overcharged. I was even informed of a coupon in the website! The waiting area was clean and a good temperature. Overall a great experience! I will definitely be back!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying all Pep Boys locations are like the one at Frayser Blvd and Rangeline but to me Pleasant Hill (Covington Pike) is the best because thats who I started going to at first. Noone is perfect but I will not be going back to the Pep Boys in Frayser, no sir, no mam. Nathan was at the front desk (Black guy). There were several other people that brought their cars back that were not satisfied. One guy was so upset about his car, he went off and Pep Boys called the police on him. I will not be going back.
