Dr Shainberg was very professional and made me comfortable with this process through removing my toenail, the last doctor didn’t remove all of the nail and it grew back with a vengeance! He was great and would recommend him to others

Weird office hours. Called to get their business hours before driving across town to pickup some inserts, got there 15 mins before they were supposed to close and door was bolted. If you don't have enough respect for your customers time to stay open when you're telling people you'll be open I'll have to take my business somewhere else.

My wife received a pedicure about a year ago that lead to an ingrown toenail & an infected toe. She went to a podiatrist who painfully injected her toe to numb it then cut only part of the toenail out. It was a horrible, horrible experience. A year later, the ingrown came back leaving her struggling to walk. Scarred from her last visit to a podiatrist, she reluctantly decided to make an appointment at Poplar Podiatry. A night and day difference. Dr Ashbury was very nice and personable. All of the pain my wife experienced having the last ingrown removed didn't occur. Not sure if Dr Ashbury used a different method or what but the previous doctor left her with a 10/10 pain during the procedure. With Dr. Ashbury, her pain was a 2/10 maybe. Dr Ashbury also pointed out the last Dr left the toenail! He missed a chunk of it. Dr Ashbury was very thorough and made sure to get the toenail at the root to prevent this from returning as much possible. We highly highly recommend poplar podiatry!

I had a friday afternoon appointment scheduled at the office. I thought it was a 330 appointment. I arrived at 334 due to traffic and the office was closed. I called, even tho the hours stated a 430pm close time. I left a message and the call was returned on monday morning. I was corrected by the office that my appointment was to have been at 3 and when I didnt arrive, they closed. I asked why they did not call and was told quote " we don;t call". so, I drove from downtown to east memphis during friday afternoon traffic for nothing. plus, the receptionist never apologized for my inconvenience. so I cannot rate the doctors, but the office staff customer service skills were very poor.

Staff was very friendly. Dr Ashbery took time to hear my story. I feel he offered me a honest realistic prognosis. He established an immediate solution as well as plans for long term care of my feet.

Dr Ashbery and his staff have been exceptional to us on our visits there. Always professional, gracious and VERY knowledgeable. We have traveled from Hot Springs AR to see him 4 times. Offers procedures and tools no one in LR offers. 5 stars all day

Saw Dr. Shainberg on Monday for an ingrown toenail that has bothered me for 7 months. Call them that Monday and they got me in the same day. If it had not been for my huge big toe taking forever to numb would've been out in 10 minutes tops. Very good at explaining everything step he will take to make sure you understand what he's doing. Highly recommend him. Thank you doc.

Have taken both parents here. The doc was much more thorough in his care of their nails than the place we'd previously used across the street. And he and his assistant are very personable, welcoming.

I saw Dr. Ashberry about 5 years ago, very nice and professional and he has been seeing my 89 yr old mom about every 9 weeks for the past 3 years, he is great with her, amazingly calm, caring and explains everything to her and us.

I was in serous pain from an ingrown toenail and called to get an appointment. Very nice staff and I was even able to get in the same day and received amazing care. This was extra amazing because I am a new patient who simply googled podiatrists near me. Dr Shainberg even went an extra mile and wrapped my toe in my favorite color of purple, which he guessed on his own lol :-) . Took his time and explained everything he would do and everything I needed to do afterwards. So very thankful and appreciative!
