If I could give this store after my experiences on Thurdsday 0 stars, then I absolutely would've. Earlier in the morning I went inside Rose's because I was on my lunch break at school, but because I was on a time crunch I didn't buy anything and instead walked out of the store with nothing. I came back to the store later on because my classes were over and I had more time to wander around and shop to see things that I wanted. I have a habit of just wandering around stores for hours simply because I just like to see if there's something I would eventually end up wanting to purchase. I wandered for a while because I was indifferent on what I wanted to buy, and because I'm on a tight budget I was looking at price tags to see what I could and couldn't afford. Eventually I ended up with some underwear, and walked around some more because there were sections I hadn't looked at yet. I walked to the misses section again to look for a shirt to go with a skirt I bought from Rainbow, and one of the store associates came up to me asking me to leave. I was perplexed on why that was, and I essentially got accused of "being suspicious" and even theft. The entire time I was there and the many times I have shopped there, not ONCE has stealing EVER crossed my mind. I've been a paying customer at this store ever since its remodel when it used to be Fred's, and it isn't my first time wandering around the store or even coming back multiple times a day. So I don't know what made this any different?? Especially because they couldn't even prove that I was stealing anything. But despite my pleas and me constantly telling the associate I didn't do anything, and I haven't stolen anything, ultimately I was still told to leave the store, and that I couldn't come back. I can understand that Memphis can be dangerous and theft is commonplace at stores. But seriously? Accusing me of a crime when I wasn't even asked to check my bag or the camera footage? There was absolutely NO tangible proof or evidence of theft. I called my mom about it and we both went into the store together, and she talked to both the associate and one of the managers about the predicament. But the excuses they gave just sounded like justification of why they implored me to leave and paint me as some kind of culprit. "Wandering around the store for hours and not buying anything" to, "coming back to the store multiple times a day, constantly putting things down and picking them up", and even "Their bag was flat when they walked in, and puffy when they left." Mind you, I had that same skirt in the bag I got from Rainbow, along with a lot of other items i pack in my bag and it makes it look heavier than intended. I hadn't opened my bag not a single time I was there. And apparently the associates were told that people will walk by me and I would look at them and act like I'm hurrying to put something in my bag. The only thing I kept taking in and out of my bag was my cell phone and hand sanitizer. Even when both my mom and I were up there, I showed proof there was nothing of theirs in my bag. But I was constantly met with poor excuses with no coherent logic or reasoning behind them. The manager even made a compromise that in order for me to come back I HAVE to buy something, and if not then I cannot come back. I genuinely don't know what crossed these people's minds to assume I was stealing, despite my efforts to show them proof that I wasn't. Just because I come to a store multiple times out of my day, or I wander around the establishment does not give these workers the obligation to falsely accuse me of something so heinous when no proof was shown.
A horrible experience that I don't want to wish on anyone. Worry about actual, legitimate thieves robbing these stores and not someone with a crossbody bag looking for something cheap to buy.

This is a very organized and cool mow price bargained store. It's well stocked the merchandise is displayed neatly. The lighting isn't too bright, the prices are reasonable. The employees are very helpful and polite. I love the array of items in the store. From clothing to indoor and outdoor house furniture.

Went earlier and the cashier rang everyone so slow. I was in line almost 30 minutes just to ring up a handful of items. They never have enough cashiers.

We went in to buy stuff for our dog. We got a dog cage, a collar, a stake, and other stuff. When we ti the register everything rung up the wrong price. We told the cashier, I even went back and took pictures. She told me that she not going to change the price because whatever it rings up is what the price is. Never heard that before it was literally an entire row of all the product. I ask her why cant it be honor and she just said that they threw it over there. It was "thrown" everywhere it literally wasn't thrown anywhere it was place in an area with the same exact items with a price tag. When she didn't want to change after I showed her the prices I left the store. It was a waste a gas and i don't understand why the price couldn't be honored. I didn't put those items in those spots as a customer who works in customer service business always honors a customer especially if the customer is not in the wrong. I also will attach the pictures. We was charge $15 for the gate and the stake rung up as $14 when you can see the tags say some different.

The weekend cashier I had was horrible. I didn’t know what the problem was. Just rude for no reason. The customer service makes or breaks the shopping experience for me. Definitely will have my guard up if I ever decide to visit here again.

People have the worst attitudes I've ever seen. Including the managers. I got no help there. The prices are not showing what they are. Not to mention the neighborhood is not safe at all. It's my first and LAST time going there!

The only problem I have with them is they one handicap basket There were 3 elderly women including my mom waiting for a motorized basket, when I asked if they had another one the gentlemen who worked in Rose's said they only had one. There was an elderly waiting outside to get the only one they had because it was in use. How unfair is that for physically challenged people. At least I could go in the store with her and get a basket but what if you are alone. Tou can't use a walker to hold all of your items.
