Food and service is always good here. They can be crowded at times but they tend to move fast. We tried the smoked catfish dip, our server suggested topping it with the green hot sauce, very good suggestion took the dip to another level, it was just okay without the hot sauce. Our server was very attentive, so sweet and patient. I wanted Blackened Catfish and this did not disappoint, it was soooo good. The catfish is always good here. Another table had the hot wings and they looked very good, so I have to try those next time. Would recommend!Parking: Parking is in the back of the building if you can get one if the very few spots in the front.

The gal that took my order @ take out counter was very nice, friendly, helpful & attentive! She waited on another person after me & very nice & helpful! The meal was delicious ? hit the spot however the pieces of fish were very small as 2 pieces equaled 1 piece if sitting in the restaurant. The fries were like Wendy's fries & not like yall used to have! I called when I got home & a guy answered the phone & I told him my concern & he said he tells ppl to check the order before leaving which I didnt know I need to but I will from now on if i return. Me & a friend split the meal. The price was fine, the fish tasted good ?, she wasn't happy w/ her meal or her pecan pie so the 5* was more for the gal that took the order even tho my fish tasted good the pieces were way to small. The food I would rate a 3*Parking: Got a place near take out door.

Door staff were something not very greeting! Waitress did a great job and were very attentive, even with the crowd. Maybe need a tray to bring out drinks. Atmosphere was good.

The service was slow. The hushpuppies were "rocks". I had to ask for a to-go box. The fish had a after-taste. I'm not happy.

Usually I get take out from the c/y location but decided to see if parking is any better here (very slightly).Food here is just as great as the midtown one.They have great food, one of the only places in town that doesn't make their corn bread overly sweet. They also understand how to make a simple straight forward burger that isn't a heckin meatball or covered in increasingly pretentious condiments and toppings. If it s made right, burgers don't need all that none sense and sould fish, despite being a fish place, has one of the best simple classic burger and fries plate for a reasonable price.This same simple but well prepared, very fresh ingredients and nice serving sizes go into the salads. They offer one of the nicer Ceasar salads in the city. This is once again a simple dish but they don't mess it up by disrupting the simplicity. Instead they elevate the most basic of salads with very fresh romaine, in the perfect size pieces for a salad, and lots of cheese and croutons which are also very nice croutons. The Ceasar is dressing is not remarkable. It is EXACTLY what I expect when I order Ceasar dressing. Soul fish isn't trying to re invent the wheel and that a a good thing because as high quality as their food is they aren't great at parking lots.Parking: There's plenty of parking in the back but the spaces are tight and tiny and it is a very long walk between the lot and building. One way in, another way out, and it s narrow. It s like the midtown one so maybe they just love bad parking and pedestrian design.

We really enjoyed ourselves here,the catfish was so fresh,hot,and delicious.The servers were so sweet and kind and patient.It was a birthday party going on so it was loud and a lot of people there,I mean it was packed in here.This restaurant gets great business and it should because of the love,time,and care they put into these dishes.If you haven't been your missing out, great job guys we will definitely be back.Parking: It's free parking but because of the high volume of people dining it was hard to find a spot bit we got one when someone pulled offKid-friendliness: There were children here and they were enjoying themselvesWheelchair accessibility: The surface is flat for wheel chair use
