South Memphis Market is a neighborhood corner store that serves some of the best fried chicken in Memphis. The chicken is fried to perfection, fresh out the grease, with excellent seasoning. The store also offers other cook-to-order items, like delicious wings, along with general goods such as drinks and snacks. The owners practice their principles by not serving pork. While the food is consistently praised, the area outside can sometimes be concerning.
Good fresh fried chicken and pretty much anything on the menu is good. Cooked when ordered.

When you go to 5 Guys and get one burger you've missed out on feeding a whole family for the same price. This burger, fries and drink was about $10. It was made to order with fresh ingredients and was huge.
