I can’t believe I’m actually back writing about these people. They already messed up my AC now I’m finding out that they didn’t effectively complete my service. Terminix I have paid OVER $6,000 for insulation repair with them because they claimed that this was the only resolution for the rodents. This repair was 4 months ago. It is now September and I still hear rodents in my attic. Not to mention, I did call for someone to come out to see what’s the problem, someone comes out then proceeds to tell me he set out 3 traps in my attic and that there isn’t any entrances that they could get in and he doesn’t know how they got in and pest control would have to come out.. ummmmmm. Why didn’t they come out from the start. They sold me a dream. I feel bamboozled. This is unacceptable and a waste of money. I should have read the reviews but I didn’t so I’ll blame me for this one.

This is the first ever negative review I’ve written. I thank god (even though I’m not religious) that I don’t have to ever hire this company again. The amount of stress with dealing with incompetence is not worth any job. Please stay away from this branch. The managers are incredibly incompetent and disorganized. I was quoted an encapsulation job that was supposed to take 2-3 days. The project ended up going on for over 2 months. I had to reach out every single time to schedule anyone to come to my house. Half the time, workers would show up and have no idea what they were there to do or they would send out the wrong person. I will say the workers were nice and seem to do a good job. My main concern is with the managers that can’t do there jobs, which seems very easy to do. Because the job took so long and was so stressful, I asked for some money off through customer service. They said the branch managers would reach out within 72 hours. Shocker, they did not reach out. I called them over a week later to ask what was going on and he said he would call me back. Another shocker, did not. Really terrible branch. Stay far away if you want to work with someone professional and effective.

I had an issue with Terminex service in Napa. I had a series of no-shows from Terminex technicians. I requested to speak to management via customer service about the issue. Finally, a customer service agent kept me on the line and was able to get through to the corporate office to have a manager call me back. There are 3 managers handling Terminex. One of the managers, Fred, called me back. I explained how my service had not started after 5 scheduled times due to technicians not showing up. I wanted a reimbursement for the first 3 months . He assured me that if I kept the service, I would not have to pay for it. Dexter, the technician, came out 2 times. I scheduled a 3rd time, and I arranged for my dogs to be moved off the property while Terminex sprayed. But Terminex scheduling department took it upon themselves to move my date to a day when I wasn't available without telling me. I was livid when they charged me $170.00 for the 1st 3 months. I requested to speak to a manager again but received the run around. Notes that Fred promised to note butnever documented any free service for the 1st 3 months. So, customer service said they could not reimburse me. And that I would have to request to speak to a manager through online service, and I would receive a call back within 24 hours. I never received a phone call. I canceled my Terminex service because corporate does not manage the company for Napa Valley efficiently. They deliver empty promises. They do not notate issues on customers' accounts efficiently so that customer service can see the full history of conversations. And, managers are inaccessible to customers. Bad service- no thank you

I love my technician! Have been a Terminix customer for almost 19 years. All was well until I “bundled” my termite service with pest control. For some reason they had to give me a new account number. That was November 2022. Since February 2023 I’ve been trying to get my old and new accounts merged to no avail!! I’ve chatted with and spoken to customer service twice. Each time I was assured they would be combined. I’ve spoken to the Pensacola (FL) manager and he was of no help whatsoever. I have email from Terminix telling me the accounts should be merged within 48 hours and now it’s June 2023 and I still have no access to my current account and my old account “died” last November. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Love my service technician and he’s talked to his boss and the manager. He’s done more than he should have to do. I will more than likely CANCEL MY SERVICE completely since I can’t get this resolved and no one cares. I’m a retired disabled US Navy woman veteran and I’m not a happy camper! Pest control is excellent; customer service is the worst!

My husband and I hired terminix to come out to our home for a mice infestation in our attic and for mice in the kitchen and other parts of our home. They took out our old insulation and replaced with insulation that they claim deters rodents but mice are having a field day in it. They have dug tunnels and there is visible evidence of droppings throughout the insulation and everywhere on the floors of the attic. Technicians have been to our home numerous times and have yet to figure out the issue because we still have evidence of mice. Our final straw was when they sent out for the last time two young technicians that didn’t do anything but go up to the attic and then lied on their report that they saw no signs of infection or rodent droppings. These technicians have never been to any of the previous appointments but could have seen droppings as soon as they opened the door to our attic and didn’t look anywhere inside our home. Almost every appointment we have made the technicians are never on time or call us hours past the scheduled time to let us know they are not coming and we would need to reschedule. I explained to the agent on the phone that when they come it was emergent and that the problem needed to be solved immediately and absolutely nothing was done when the technicians came! We have trapped more mice since the start of service than before we even had them come out the first time. We also used their tick service and still get ticks off of us and our pets. These services are costing us thousands of dollars and they are denying us any kind of refund! You wouldn’t keep taking your vehicle to the same mechanic numerous times to be serviced if when you got the vehicle back you had the same issue. Therefore we refuse to have the same company come back numerous times when the issue is still the same and has yet to be fixed. We have video and picture evidence of mice we have caught and dropping. If they continue to refuse us a full refund we will be contacting both a lawyer and the better business bureau!Services: Rodent extermination

By time time the company sent someone out, my 6 month warranty had expired. I was told another thousand dollars and they would treat my problem. I still have not received the annual inspection written in the contract. I am stuck with payments until November and the insect problem will still exist. I am not ever to use this service again.

Terminix wanted to charge a higher amount for a incomplete job, and due to me doing business with them for over seven years, I was surprised and very disappointed. The Terminix employee went under my house to put down plastic and remove a small amount of trash from under the house, but failed to put plastic under the entire house as well as any removal of trash. The Terminix employee also claimed that it was raw sewerage under the house, however, after having someone else to go under my home to check, it was no evidence of raw sewerage. Will not stop sending their junk mail to my postal address. Even after I called, even after I signed up for the opt out list. Post office said to contact them. They have zero respect for my simple request, imagine if you sign a contract with them!!!!!

This is not a review of a service provided, because they did not show up to the appointment and they did not care to call to reschedule. I actually call and they said will be there in 30 minutes. These types of things bother me. Especially when I thought that I went with a more expensive but reputable company. I think they are having so much business that they dont need mine. A ****** learned. Ill go with a mom and pops local store, which I should have done from the start. Is two stars fair enough for that? I dont know.

They charge you without consent. Initially, the sales person sold me the package for the quarter, but later, the company tells me that there are no quarter system, and the billing cycle ends at the end of the year?! I DO NOT understand why there are discrepancies in information that was provided. Are the employee not trained well?My quarter ended on Nov30. I had called for service on Nov 23, and also requested them to close the account. It appears, the technician was sent to me with reschedule on Dec 1 (just on 1st day on new billing cycle, isn't it a trap?). Now I am fighting if the service was part of previous cycle or new? They tell me is it new and charged my account. And what happened to my request for account close? I had to file a fraud charge with my credit card, and again they are calling me with threaten that they would send me to collection. Is this a thug business or pesticide business focused on customer service. 100s of similar complain about this company regarding very similar issue. I see a pattern here and I feel like this company is focused on collecting money rather than on pesticide business. Be aware before doing business with Terminix.Service: Cockroach extermination

I was told a service would be done and never received it. A salesman came to my home and I explained my issue with the pest. He offered us a plan that he promised would take care of our problem. We paid $1250 for them to come patch up some holes. They accepted our payment and we didnt see what we paid for until a few days later. We had 5 different people come to our house and each person told us something tottallt diffrent than the last. We were told we had pest control and then told that we didnt. We were told they would come and spray but never recieved the service. The issue is that if a person calls you for pest control or removal then that's what needs to be done. As a customer I have no idea what your plan include or dont include. You should tell them this once they explained what problems they are having. Terminix is rip off and are not a fair or good business to deal with. I will never use them again for any type of pest control. They have even erased our other reviews that were left on this site.Service: Rodent extermination
