The best if you want your package 5 to 10 days later than it should be. I am stunned... STUNNED... that a government agency is this inefficient and/or incompetent.

Sadly the USPS just continues to spiral downward, especially when it comes to customer service. I walked into this facility at about 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon and needed counter service to mail a package. On my way in I saw a postal worker coming out. When I got to the counter around the corner everything was locked up tight. I walked back out and saw the same postal worker looking at her phone. I asked if the post office was closed. She said she was leaving for lunch and I could come back in about an hour. When did the post office start closing for lunch and at 1:30 on a Friday? This is the same post office that has lost packages for me before. I guess I’ll just have to start using the private package carriers like UPS and DHL.

The AA lady worker is rude and racist. I have always had good experiences with all USPS except here. Choose other USPS.

The hours say 8:30am - 5:00pm online and on the door. I walked down in the rain and arrived at 8:35am. I waited for 20 minutes. I then walked back to my building in the rain and go my car. Drove to another post office down the road. Also not open when they say they are. Drove back to this post office, still no one there at 9:00am. Is it too much to ask for you to open on time? I lost 45 minutes of my lunch break trying to send a freaking letter because you are not there when you say you will be.

Helpful when they're open. Inconsistent open, close, and lunchtime hours.

Randomly closed during the middle of the day. I skipped lunch to ship my packages.

Evan Mills' review is incorrect. This location is, in fact, open and is just further away from Peabody Place than Bank of America. Photo taken 07/14/21

The Peabody Post Office location feels like the center the DT community. Sort of like a USPS version of Cheers. The service is excellent. The conversation is excellent. The office is located on the Main Street Trolley. It is popular for tourists, office workers, seniors, and Downtown residents. I regularly use and would highly recommend.

We have had such above and beyond service from the great folks working at this facility. Parking can be a challenge, but is worth the trouble with the great service they provide.

Worst place ever! The lady at the front desk was so unprofessional and rude with me when I was trying to get a P.O box. She helped me with absolutely nothing and was trying to get me out of her way because according to her it was almost time to close. It was 4:30 p.m!

The woman who works there (Sandra) was not polite and wasn't helpful at all. Very rude and she seemed like she didn't want to be there.
