I usually try not to post negative reviews of small businesses but unfortunately my experience here wasn’t great. My boyfriend and I stopped in since we were in the area and I love going to thrift/antique stores. I immediately felt super awkward when we walked in when the group of people talking in the front dispersed into the rooms of the house, I assume to keep eyes on us. The vibe just felt really off and we were checked on like three times, which I get to a certain extent. I work in retail, at a small business, I understand loss prevention but this was so overt that it made me uncomfortable to the point where I was so hyper aware that we were being watched/suspected, I couldn’t even focus on looking at things. My bag was super tiny and I didn’t have pockets so that wouldn’t have given them a reason to suspect I would steal. I can only assume because I dress a different and have visible tattoos that maybe that would have been the reason, but that’s only an assumption. I’ve been to lots of thrifts/antique stores around Nashville and haven’t experienced this until now. I did end up purchasing something and my boyfriend pointed out to me later that one of the ladies in the shop appeared to be counting her things to make sure they were all there. All in all, I guess my feelings just got pretty hurt. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they didn’t mean to make us feel this way but hopefully letting them know will let them examine the way they treat customers so it doesn’t ruin their shopping experience.

Definitely recommend this store. So many good finds here. I purchased three items my last visit and already can’t wait to go back. The woman here was helpful and friendly, even towards my children which I appreciated.

I just love this place, you can find almost anything that you may be looking for. The employees are really nice and helpful. The prices are in line with other little shops like this. I would spend the day looking around and shopping. Go visit this store , you'll leave with something.

I had high hopes going in to this store after finding it online and seeing the photos. I made a detour from my trip and had every intention of loading up my trunk with some of the amazing things they have tucked everywhere!! However, the owners, or at least the ladies who ran it, were very “frosty” to me. I felt invisible instantly. This was ironic, because they were hyper focused on the couple already in there, fawning all over the husband as he cracked corny jokes. The couple spent a whopping $300. Apparently the ladies were immensely pleased at this. I was able to ask about a few things of interest, but by that time, my impression of the store was solid. If I had been in a better mind set, I could easily matched and doubled dad-joke-guy. But, alas… Do not be deceived. This is not a thrift store. It is a very calculated and decided pseudo antique store with pricing that reflects thus (despite the Sanford and Son veneer and cute monicker) These ladies obviously have done their homework. In layman’s terms- there are no bargains here or southern hospitality. If you are looking to pay full market price for one-off antique house hold items, toys, etc., this is your place. If you are hoping to find a diamond in the rough and spend time treasure hunting- go elsewhere.
