Well, I bought a battery from a different Autozone on Oct. 8, 2023 (8 months prior to this post). Shortly after the cold snap of 2024, my Jeep started needing to get jump-started. Just occasionally, at first; and increasingly more so since then. The battery indicator is below 14V, as you can see in this picture. The meter should read at or above 14V for a fully charged battery and has done so for the 21 years I've owned this vehicle.
Long story short, In the past week, I've needed 4 jump starts - including last night to get home and this morning to get to this Autozone!
The manager here greeted me when I came in. After hearing the problem, he immediately suggested I have a bad alternator... but that we would go and do a diagnosis. The alternator, starter, and battery all showed 100% on the diagnostic machine. I asked kindly if I could still get the advertised free charge. He rudely asked "charge what? The battery that is showing 100%??"
My reply, "sir, can we try? (Also told him at this point of the voltage reading)" he declined and I suggested that perhaps I might just need to buy another battery here or at another Autozone.
He turned around and walked inside, waving his hand at me as if to "shoo" me away.
Oh, well... I'm sure Advance Auto Parts will be glad to sell me a battery that works and stand by whatever warranties they advertise.
UPDATE: Advanced Auto Parts just down the road checked the battery (that their company did not sell me, mind you), immediately said "yep, charge is definitely low," and recharged it for me - FOR FREE. Less than an hour later, all is fixed and I am now a customer of a different company.

Store manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. She lied about the part that I was looking for and said it's not available to sell an expensive part. She also didn't give me my receipt when I asked for it, she said "you take it and get out of my store". what type of service she was providing? How AutoZone allowed such as unprofessional individual like this to be there?
I'm highly dissatisfied and don’t recommend this store to anyone.

Stopped here at 1910 to get a battery for a neighbor- this was posted. The hours weren’t reflected on Google maps . Fortunately advanced auto was able to help. It was super frustrating as I drove about 20 mins out of the way to go here for my neighbor to have a battery to start the car. I respect the need for meetings but do it before or break staff up and do it or if you must close the store update it to reflect on maps social media etc .

Lady at the store is very rude to my father. The lady did not help during transaction and being mean for no reason. There were problem during transaction and they did not attempt to explain it and on top of that lady started talking very rudely when my father was not even talking to her. My father was trying have communication with other technician named Robert who could not fix my car’s battery and my father just asked for return if he could not fix it. But they did not give full refund and behaved very poorly and rudely to my father. When I attempted to talk to Robert, he was polite and explained the situation to me but the lady was not nice. This store needs to improve upon their customer service. They still did not fix my refund.

Refused to exchange wrong headlight bulbs I bought there 5 mins prior without leaving the parking lot, for being slightly opened. Went to Advanced Auto with my brights on(no low beams..) and got them there..

Second experience here that was less than helpful. Lady at the counter scrolling tik tok refused to come help us and said her machine for the check engine light was “acting up” then proceeded to go back to scrolling and lock the door behind us 30 minutes before closing time. Seems to be a string of laziness and incompetence. O’Reily is more than happy to help and Advanced Auto in providence has always been more than helpful as well, maybe this location isn’t really needed anyways.

Absolutely horrible experience there on 11/8. The man standing up front was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked for help searching for something he told me could not do it. Proceeded to laugh with the lady worker there. Worst customer service I’ve had in a long time! Would never go back. Hermitage location was more than helpful!!
