Worst Budget ever.. First of all he made us come get the rental 3 Hours before the reservation at 3pm because he was closing the store. Gave us the dirtiest SUV ever inside in and out. Had people trash and old paperwork inside car. Told us to return the car at 12pm instead of the original time. When we return the car he claims he smells marijuana when nobody smokes, I guess because I’m of color I automatically smoke. When he gives me the receipt I see he didn’t even put my Deposit on file. I recommend to stay a way from this hole in the wall

Making reservations at this location is pointless, they make you go to airport to pickup.

Extremely unprofessional. Had a reservation for a car at this location for 4pm on a weekday. Travel changed (as it always does) and I arrived to the office around 4:45pm. Posted hours on google maps, website, and on the door of the office all say it should be open until 5:30pm so I thought I was still good to go. Completely wrong. The man who runs this office apparently is a one man show. When I called the posted number for “24 hr assistance” I was told that because I was not there right at my reservation time, he closed the office for the day. I did not receive any communication from him to let me know he was changing the posted hours of his business. He then proceeded to lie and tell me that I could take my reservation number to BNA rental office and they would honor it. This is false information as there are taxes and fees at that location. The rental ended up costing me an additional $40 and more time. Customer beware: customer service does not exist at this location. You are much better served at Enterprise on Lebanon Rd. A week later I rented from Enterprise for the same vehicle type and length of time for $100 less than what I was quoted by this office through Budget. Save your money and time and rent with Enterprise.

I reserved and I PRE-PAID for a vehicle. When I got to the Mt. Juliet location, I was told that no car was available and that it was my fault for making a same-day reservation and not calling in advance. So now I'm out the prepayment and Uber fees to go back home. I was told that IF a car did become available, it would not be until that evening. And that was IF. I will never deal with Budget again and the person in this office had the demeanor of somebody who hated their job and all living things.

Please read the negative reviews. They are on point. I personally don't see how, as unprofessional as this place is, how in the WORLD they stay in business.(at least at this location) You can LITERALLY have a reservation set & when you arrive to pickup your ride, they will tell you "We have no cars". That entire facility is ghetto as project. Big guy tells me he has no cars, but I scanned their lot & saw 6 cars & 2 SUVs. Really, dude??!!

Right before picking up my vehicle, which was reserved several weeks in advance, they told me they had no vehicles. No recourse was given, besides being told to go try and find a car elsewhere. It would be insane to ever reserve with Budget again, given that a reservation is totally meaningless to them.

I’d give zero stars if possible. Reserved a SUV via Costco travel. Picked it up and barely got out of the parking lot and the Engine Malfunction light came on. Returned to Budget and the only other vehicle available to rent was a minivan. Declined that offer and tried 3 other Budget locations. None had any vehicles available. Save yourself the time and hassle and avoid Budget. Go to Enterprise in Mt Juliet to be treated right.

Daughter reserved and paid for a rental car at this location. She got there and was told, rudely, that they didn't have the car and she'd have to get a refund. She was given a phone # to call for her refund. She was told there would be a $150 cancellation fee. She explained to the operator that she didn't cancel, they didn't have the car. My daughter is a 25 year old 1st grade teacher that weighs 120#. I guarantee you the person at the counter would have treated me differently. Her boyfriend took her to Budget. I took her to National Car Rental and got a car. The gentleman was professional and courteous unlike Budget.

Zero stars if I could. DO NOT rent from this location. No matter what better rate you get. Needed car at 8am. Guy didn't show up until 815, with a bad attitude. Vehicle was nasty. 2 weeks after returning the car at another location, I am getting another 125$ charge. Investigating why now. THIS IS A PRIVATE COMPANY! Not a budget retail location. They will scam and give you awful service and an attitude to go with it. Now I wait to talk to Budget about this extra charge. STAY AWAY! Pay the extra 30$

Worst customer service! Safe yourself the trouble and go anywhere else. First the deal I got online was not honored at the store, I had to call someone from Budget to cancel because the agent at the office could not do it himself. Because the offer expired, I had to make another reservation at a higher rate.Upon attempting to return the vehicle, nobody was present and the door was locked. Waited for 30 minutes and knocked on the door several times. There was no sign on the door of the store being closed for any reason so, I waited. I trying calling the phone numbers shown on the door, but they would all go to voicemail. Worried that I would be charged extra for the vehicle I called their National Office and was able to get a hold of someone. They literally had no explanation for the store being closed and not even they can get a hold of anyone. Agent on the phone noted everything and was able to provide a case number. I dropped the car on the parking lot and come back the next day to drop the keys.Last but not least, when I returned the keys, I tried to pay with a different card but their entire system was down. How do they literally are in business? Again, safe yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Do not use this rental company! Horrible customer service, never has the right car, 3 times the car was not there when I went to pick it up and they will not give you a larger car if yours is not there. They just don’t care! What ever happened to customer service!!
