Best hams you will ever eat. The original building from the early 1900s. Founding family still owns and operates the place. They cure their own hams. Not overly salty. I will definitely be going back.everyone was friendly and ready to tell the history of the store.

Country ham was great, made the best red-eye gravy. Thank u been looking for some good old country ham instead of the fake in the grocery stores
Rice's Country Hams is a third generation family owned and operated business. The business was started in 1933 by Ed Rice Sr. in his back yard smokehouse. Ed Rice Jr. carried on the business and passed down the art of curing country hams to his son in law Scott Dabbs and daughter Ginny who now proudly carry on the family tradition. We pride ourselves in producing the finest quality country cured meats. It takes a full year to cure a traditional Country Ham which is why the business is only open a few months out of the year. Retail Store is open October 1 through Christmas Eve and 2 weeks prior to Easter.
