Went to view the school and was told after taking off of work and coordinating with the family, that the infant care side had a wait list up till the end of the year of 2024…..why wasn’t I told that on the phone before I scheduled to tour the facility ? It’s very bad business not to over communicate with the consumer. Most of us parents prefer full transparency.

We love Goddard! Our 3.5 year old son started last year just 2 days per week and we have recently increased to full time. His development socially and educationally is impressive and the teachers do a great job giving real, constructive feedback to help both our child and their classroom/day to day experience.

My son has attended Mt Juliet Goddard from 13 months old to now 2.5 years old. We absolutely love this school. It's a newer building, it's always clean and frequently sanitized. We have loved each and every teacher my son has had. The teachers as well as administrative staff are kind, prompt, communicative and proactive. We have made wonderful friends here and highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful daycare experience!

I’m not sure where to start but we 10/10 recommend!!! The staff is beyond amazing and can we say the support for your kids will be present??From the owner, to the director, the whole staff, they are phenomenal and will take great care of your kiddos. Our son was a micropreemie so if you can imagine the jitters, it was very scary to start during the pandemic. They have made sure that he met every milestone these past 3 years and the sweet teachers made sure that he was prepared to take on the world. I cannot wait to send our newest bundle when the time comes. We are beyond ready for Kindergarten and we owe it all to Goddard- Mt.Juliet! Thank you Goddard and 5 stars for the best to do it!!

Where do I even begin. The Goddard in Mt. Juliet was my home for the past year. I miss it every day. (Had to move away because my husbands job) The office staff TaKayla, Erin and the owner Jim are amazing people. Always going above and beyond for their staff, children and parents. The teachers there love their children and go above and beyond for them. I miss my class so much! I would recommend working here and would definitely bring my children here. It’s a great and loving place. I miss it so much.

I used to work here as a lead teacher as well as an admin assistant. It was one of the best places I’ve worked. I felt supported by management and the owner. I only left due to a family member falling extremely Ill. They worked hard to give us our breaks as well as staff lunches. Staffing is really hard these days and the director always did her best to find good teachers. I appreciate my time there !

We were on the waitlist for our son for over a year but the wait was well worth it. It was a little chaotic when he started due to the high staff turnaround but once the teachers for his class were permanent, things got significantly better. Everybody has been nothing but kind and helpful. The staff in the front is great. Casie always greets everyone with a smile and her positivity is amazing. She is genuine and cares about the kids - she remembers all their names and makes sure she talks to them everyday on their way in and out.The notes that teachers make in the app and the feedback we get is helpful.

I cannot say enough good things about Goddard. My daughter is about to age out and we will miss sending her there. The staff is very friendly, helpful and always willing to listen. As for the curriculum, I will have to say that my daughter surprised me with what she learned. The example that sticks out in my mind is how she asked if we knew that plants use chlorophyll to turn sunlight into suger....it was a very interesting car ride home that day.I would 100% recommend this Goddard to anyone looking to have their child in something more than daycare. To the staff: thank you for everything, she will miss all of you so we may have to visit some time.

If you’re looking for a place to send your children or aspire to work in a location that feels like home… this is the place for you and your family! You will forever be surrounded by excellent staff, teachers, and management that will always strive to make each day a breeze and are willing to tackle any questions or obstacles that may arise. 5 stars for the Goddard School!

Our son will graduate from Pre-K here next month and not only will he miss The Goddard School, so will I. We moved here from TX (where my son had been attending The Goddard School since 4 months old). This organization, the STEAM curriculum, teachers, directors and owner Jim are all top notch professionals. While all of the other early learning private schools and day cares in the area have struggled to hire and retain "qualified teachers" we've been so grateful to have the consistency w/ teachers and administrators here since they opened. Jim and his team have always done right by my son and by us as parents. On many occasions have gone above and beyond without asking. The culture here is inviting, caring, fair and fun and have no doubt my child is more than ready to start Kindergarten this August.

I would give zero stars if I could. We started Goddard last year with high hopes and feeling very impressed by the appearance, cleanliness, and friendly staff. It turned out to be a nightmare. The safety of my children became a huge concern as well as the extremely high turnover rate with staff. Which in my opinion usually steams from bad management. They supposedly hold very high standards as well as require background checks and training but in my experience I could not tell. It seemed they hired anyone who could stand and breathe and keep an eye on my children. Then they would be fired shortly after with no explanation to parents. Multiple situations I should have been aware of at the great cost and trust I put into them. When I made the director aware, I got little help as well as a very short reply from the owner. When I paid a second mortgage practically to send my children to this establishment. I will never, ever recommend Goddard of Mount Juliet to anyone. With that being said. They’re are a handful of extraordinary teachers, and for them I am so thankful. The bad far outweighs the good here.

This school started off great when they first opened and some of the actual teachers are really great but staffing shortages have caused a rapid decline due to going from having mainly teachers to mainly daycare workers. The owner, Jim Farmer, is unwilling to offer solutions to any issues. School or child related. They mix part time and full time students in the same class. If you enroll for 5 days, your child is actually only getting 2 days of curriculum because the Tuesday/Thursday students can't miss out. My child attended almost a year and every day we received multiple pictures through their app showing our child participating in all the activities with no noted behavior issues. Other than the occasional typical 4 year old behavior, we had no real issues until we had a meeting with the owner to discuss options. Our child came home telling us he was "dizzy" because they teach the same things everyday. The following week was an improvement but the very next week, we started getting reports of behavior unlike our child had ever shown in any other environment. We immediately told the teachers and staff that we are willing to do whatever they recommend and we want to work together. Less than two months after the meeting to discuss our child being "dizzy" from going over the same material over and over, we get an out of the blue call that our child is suspended for 5 days and that his teacher no longer feels comfortable speaking to us. We obviously were in shock but made the best out of the time with him at home. One week back at school, ending last week with his teacher telling us the behavior has improved, we're again blindsided by a call from the owner saying he has thought about it and has decided to expell our 4 year old. Trying to understand the situation with the owner on the phone he ended up screaming at me and hanging up on me. My wife and I immediately left to go get our children. In the school foyer, waiting for the staff to bring us our children, the owner screamed at me again right in front of my wife and his office staff. The Goddard School corporate advertises a fantastic environment for young children but without the right franchisee, it's just another daycare.

We transferred to the Goddard School after having an awful experience at another local school. My son used to cry everyday when it was time for school but after switching to Goddard, we've never had an issue and we've been there over a year now. My son has been in multiple classrooms (due to moving up, not due to issues) and has loved all of his teachers. When I ask him if he likes his teachers and feels safe, he always says yes. The front staff has always been nothing but friendly since we started there. The pricing is comparable to other schools in the area especially with how much this area is growing. The school is very upfront and informative when it comes to challenging behavior which for parents can be hard to hear and correct. That was important to us when choosing a school because our previous experience had some major behaviors and bullying already happening. Overall, every school has its pros and cons and everyone has their own story to tell. For us, Goddard School has been nothing but exceptional for us and our sons development.
