“Had my first experience taking my car to Mike's yesterday, and it was FANTASTIC. They are conveniently located, and offer free shuttle service (& the shuttle driver was friendly and enjoyable to chat with), and gave a clear estimate for the work (down to the penny) which didn't change at all when it was time to pay. All around a great experience and I am very grateful for their help. Definitely would recommend to others!”

“Wade was very helpful and kind to me. I forgot that I had created a note about leaving my key under the driver side mat, and he called me to ask where it was. He was very patient as I brought the key outside to him. Then, he asked what was wrong with the car and offered to try giving me a jump first. We popped the hood and he said immediately that he could see something loose. He tightened it, and the car started right back up just like that. He saved me a trip to the repair shop and it only took a few minutes. He was just wonderful. Thank you Wade!”

“UPDATE: I changed it to 4 stars, from 2 stars, because the manager got in touch with me and was able to offer the remaining parts and installation at a closer location. It doesn't change the bad experience and short notice on everything, but it does meet our needs with minimal additional effort on our part, so I really appreciate it. I know sometimes inconveniences are unavoidable, but what really annoyed me about all of it was the short notice on everything. Planning ahead is important, which is why I scheduled so far in advance, to make sure they had ample time to accommodate. Sometimes that means picking up out-of-stock parts for scheduled services from other nearby locations, if needed. It definitely means giving more than 6 hours notice for an appointment change. I believe the policy for Uhaul is 24 hours notice, which would have been easier for us to accommodate.

In any case, its still down 1 star just for the short notice, but I want to thank the manager for calling me back and addressing the issue so that my problem was solved. I feel like they did the best they reasonably could with the circumstances.

It happened on the same day it was scheduled. That's all I can say.

They gave us about 6 hours notice that the time we had scheduled wouldn't work so they moved it up 2 hours, making us scramble to accommodate.

They didn't have all the parts in stock so now we gotta find them elsewhere and pay for that service. They did refund us the price of the parts themselves and did the service on what they had.

We scheduled nearly 2 weeks in advance. If I'd known these issues were gonna come up I'd have gone elsewhere.

We scheduled on the website and chose this location (an hour out of our way) specifically because it had the parts and the time slot we needed.

Insult to injury, my fiance (who rearranged his schedule to take the car in, since I wouldn't be able to get out of work in time for the new appointment) had to wait in the rain while they completed their service.”

“My Volkswagen sustained some pretty serious damage back in October that required both driver's side doors to be replaced. The VW Dealership in North Nashville recommended TriStar Collision as the place to get my car fixed - and I am so glad I took them up on that suggestion.

Within 2 weeks, TriStar had me booked to drop my car off and start the repairs. From the start, they were responsive and committed to getting my car repaired ASAP. I originally dropped it off at their Nashville location, but shortly after they asked me if they could transfer the car to their Hendersonville shop so they could complete it faster.

After dealing with insurance estimates and the parts shop sending the wrong door moldings to fit my car, TriStar's actual repair process was finished within a week or two. The whole process did take longer than I expected, but not really TriStar's fault at all...

I got a few texts throughout the repair process, updating me when my vehicle was in a new stage of repair. If you want further communication, just call their office - they normally answer right away and are happy to provide you with any further updates. You can also submit a message on the website, and you'll get a call/email response.

My car looks brand new, and I appreciated their patience and great work in making it look so good. Will definitely return for any future repair needs.”
