“I really enjoy going. I get the emails from them & went for something specific, underbed storage containers, which are awesome has rollers, & bi-fold lid at a very decent price, of course had to get a couple things I didn't need & have fun.”

“I go to the Dollar General a few times a week. I don't always go to this location as there are many others in the area. However this location has become my go to. This is the newest Dollar General that I know of within the surrounding area. This is considered one of their bigger stores, as they carry more stock than others. The workers are helpful and kind 99.9% of the time. They have new deals every week that you can view online or in a few weekly sales paper issues that are free and in view when your walk in. They accept cash, credit/debit , and SNAP/EBT. The only thing I can think of that might effect people is if the right item is a good deal that week they will probably sell out. For example last week they had 2-liter Mellow Yellows for $0.85 cents a piece. I went to 4 different Dollar General stores, but all were sold out.”

“There is two employees that work here that deserve a raise AND SO MUCH MORE,The beautiful blacked haired girl has always helped me when I come in with my children, she always has a smile on her face and I've never seen her be rude to a customer, and then the amazing man with long hair who has always been sweet and asked me how my day was, find items I couldn't find and he even helped me pay for me food when I was $1.00 over. I know dollar general gets a lot of hate but these two employees are amazing, I wish I knew there names but ether way keep up the good work, y'all are amazing .”
“I would like to let Hawkins County know the manager on duty Friday Morning, August 27, 2024 is totally awesome ? ? Due to the storm that hit on that morning, the roof was tore off our mobile home, it peeled the roof like a banana!! The manager gave us the money to buy tarps to cover our belongings, my roommate and I are both on SS and very low income. The manager was extremely nice and sympathetic to our situation and we were blessed that she was working at that time. Give them your business, they definitely deserve it!”
“I absolutely love this store. It's always clean, the shelves are well stocked and the customer service is the best thing of all. Everyone is always kind and helpful. This store in my opinion is the best of the Dollar Stores in Kingsport. I would highly suggest it to anyone.”

“I have shopped at this location for the past seven years, and I have seen them thru all kinds of managers and staff. I had stopped shopping there over the past two years because of poor store condition but I shopped there yesterday and was so pleased. The store looked fantastic! It was clean stuff on shelves and organized. Connie, your new store manager, is doing an excellent job. She has hired hard working staff to surround her. One of her new hires, Pasty, is one of the hardest working employees I have seen in a while. Mary Ann, another employee, is always smiling and friendly. It is such a pleasure to shop there again! My hat off to Connie for a job well done!”

“This store on website says it's open till 11 but when I went there tonight got there at 9pm and it was already closed on the door it says they close at 9pm everyday so if ur going here or any of the others keep in mind it closes at 9pm not 11pm that's all and I love shopping at these stores there are some great deals here as well”

“Just left the store and had to acknowledge the employee who rang me up. The date is 6/2/2023 and the time was about 8:50 pm. Didn't get her name but I think she's new because I haven't seen her in there before. Absolutely the most friendly, outgoing person I've ever dealt with in a retail store. Dollar General would do itself a great service if they hired a hundred more like her. Kudos to that young lady and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves as I'm not easily impressed with most people.”
