This place was a lifesaver. After passing through Nashville and all the construction I needed to rest and relieve myself.
It was 330 in the morning and they were kind and welcoming and allowed me to use the parking lot for a few hours of sleep. They sell hot food like chicken and potatoes and sandwiches. I was so happy to pick this place randomly as my next stop. Very kind people !

I really love this store. High quality and very clean. Only issue is they don't honor twice daily deals. But has the best chicken. I recommend honey as a sauce.

It's been a while since I was there. Maybe a year. Last time I went to get chicken, they didn't sell breasts. Chicken was good but like most everything these days, incredibly expensive. If I can't get breasts and have to pay that skyrocket price, I'm going elsewhere.

Is the elderly lady the owner? Because if she's not, how does she still have a job there? I will NEVER be back because of her. After complaining on a local FB group it was literally echoed by at least 50 people with the exact same complaints about her. She is costing this business a lot of money and customers, she should be fired! Smh

So it's about 7 maybe 8 o'clock when I entered the store I asked the lady if I could buy a 25 piece of chicken tenders she told me I would have had to called it in to get that much chicken ok so that's cool,"not" so I ask the women can I buy the cooked chicken that they have on display for the customers to buy for right well I'm a customer and I tried to buy the plates of chicken she had already made and I was told no that they can't sell it all to me because they gotta have chicken until 10 pm I was in awe that she wouldn't even sell me half of it so what happens when they don't sell all the chicken until 10 it goes to waste yeah they are rude and disrespectful in my opinion. 0 stars

4 stars because Zane is extremely hospitable and kind. Everytime no matter how late or what bills I pay with when I come in. HOWEVER! There is an elderly lady who has insulted, no exaggerating, me and everyone of my friends that I bring to Chips. There is no reason for two different people working the same shift to treat the same people so differently. This lady has been called and complained on several times. Tonight she couldn't get the right cigarettes and was angry and rude towards a customer. If you grab the wrong cigarettes, put them back and just get the right ones. You are in the service industry, ma'am. You don't get to sit behind the counter at chips gas station in Joelton and treat customers like they are peasants. Someone please tell this lady to be courteous. I try to shop at chips because it's a staple in the city my family was raised in. I come late and look forward to seeing Zane. From now on, I will not give my business to chips if that butter and rude old lady is in there.

I live in the area and regularly go here the workers are usually nice and even when they're in a bad mood they're not rude. It's a country style gas station the prices are decent and the food is pretty good. Don't go in there expecting a twice daily because it's not one.
