“I want to send a special thank you to Mrs. Glenda Harris! Where do I start? Before I met Mrs. Harris, I had just left US Community Credit Union off Old Lebanon the day before due to some activity on my account. While I was at the Lebanon location, it took me four walks to the ATM before the lady got my new card activated correctly (she didn't know she had to verify the card). Before I left, my funds were not in my new account. She said it should be on there tomorrow. Well, tomorrow came, and still no money. I was distraught because something told me not to leave the bank until the issues was fixed, but I left anyway. The next day, I went to a different location, and I met Mrs. Harris! She looked at my account and noticed right away what was wrong and fixed my account right away. I was close to pulling all my funds from the bank, but Mrs. Harris made me think twice because she took her time and corrected the issue. Thank you so much, Mrs. Harris, for fixing my account and saving the day! You are truly Amazing!”

“This bank was affiliated with a bank I had back home and recommend it to my father in law. Opened a checking account and a couple weeks later he wanted to finance a car. He never had to before and was anxious about the process, understandably. I told him to get pre-approved and we asked the branch manager, Hannah lots of questions. She explained it very well to both of us and even told us to make sure check the carfax with the bank and recommend some dealers and told us what to look out for. When we found the right car, we were in a bit of a rush as it was right before they closed, she really went above and beyond to make sure we were in and out with a check explaining my FIL's car payments and interest rate. We truly feel this is the best banking experience we have ever had with incredible customer service. We are so thankful for Hannah and her team at US community credit union.”

“We live in WNC and were coming to Vanderbilt Med Center for surgery, arriving on Sunday. Friday evening after hours the hospital called and wanted an extremely large down payment by 8:30 on Monday or my surgery would be cancelled. Vanderbilt Credit Union is a shared branch of our normal credit union so we arrived there when they opened. The teller (1st window) listened to our story, knew she couldn’t help us but apologized and got what turned out to be our angel on earth. Mr. Mike McDonald, President and CEO appeared and took us to his office. He patiently listened and offered easy solutions for us, discussed with another employee and then offered to discuss with the hospital when they called us back. We waited in their conference room until the call came in and Mike was right there to take over. He offered the options to the hospital and told them our personal check would be good unless they wanted money wired. They agreed on a check and at that point Mike walked us through the maze of the hospital to the exact person we were told to deal with. It’s rare in the business world, to run across such an amazing, caring, compassionate human being but Mike is all of those things and more. I could never recommend this credit union enough, they truly care about their members, even “shared” members and the level they go to making sure you are satisfied in unmatched. Thank you again for everything, we are eternally grateful”
