I never write reviews, but after 3 and a half years of doing Logistics in the Aerospace Industry- I can confidently say that DHL is the worst and I wish none of our customers used them. I am going to sum up my years of dealing with them in one review.
They have terrible processes and procedures- never try to get a package intercepted and returned because it has to reach the final destination port first- EVEN IF IT IS STILL IN THE STATES!!! Called them while it was in OHIO and I am in TENNESSEE- ONLY TWO STATES NORTH! I had to watch it go to OHIO, HAWAII, CHINA AND THEN TO PAPA NEW GUINEA FOR IT TO GET STUCK IN PAPA NEW GUINEA AND GOT THE SHIPMENT BACK A MONTH LATER!!!
They suck at follow-up, their drivers do not care- had a driver today come an hour before the pick-up time scheduled, opened our loading box and drove off because it was empty... Well duh! You came an hour early! The drivers do not stick to the pick-up times given, or they just do not pick it up at all. They will not let you ship stuff in buckets because it could leak out- our products are in a case, which is in a bag, which is in a bucket with a sealed lid. We end up having to waste huge boxes for one measly battery cell.... stupid.
If you are thinking about using DHL, don't- go with FedEX or UPS. Also, DHL do not respond to me- there is no repairing this.

Slower than molasses in a January blizzard. Maybe you'll get it, maybe you won't. Second rate tracking. Have stopped ordering from concerns who use this shipping service.

Very slow delivery time, I received a call on Friday from Jessie saying they were scheduling my delivery for that day and it would be at my home between 10:30 am and 12:00pm. I had to leave work then drive an hour back home and waited until 2:00pm just to receive a text from the driver saying he doesn’t know why the scheduled the delivery today because he’s out of hours. He then told me it would be Tuesday when he’d be able to make the delivery. I called jessie today to see what time they were going to schedule it today because the driver told me they would and she said he should’ve never told me that and it would be tomorrow. This is very frustrating and poor communication on there end

Michell’s attitude is Ugly , she has an very smart mouth & shouldn’t be working with others , she slow and had me sitting in front office for over 30 mins , due to her not trying to help me , it’s outrageous there ? I don’t recommend anyone to her at dHL

If I could give zero stars I would. First you can not talk to anyone EVER. The phone numbers are all automated with no way to get to a human. The emails are never returned. They say they need information but what they are asking for is in the information they send you. It doesn't seem to matter if you are the shipper or the receiver there is no customer service. My package is in customs about to be returned and there is no way for me to talk to anyone to get it resolved. It is a miserable system. OK I have given another star. The system is still miserable but if you want to talk to someone give them a bad review and they are quick to help you. The lady that delivered my package was very nice and efficient and the social media guy emailed me in less than 24 hour offering help to my situation. It is a shame that you have to leave a bad review to get attention but it works so do it if you need help. I left a one star and got quick results.

A package from overseas was shipped promptly and moved quickly, that is until it was received in the DHL hub in Cincinnati Ohio, where it has either been lost, or forgotten about. The DHL story is that it is on hold (code word that means we don't have a clue as to where your package is).
It's been on the hold list for almost a week, a supervisor promised to call back to advise me as to what really was happening with my package, after no call her voicemail is no longer accepting calls This carrier is less than professional and appears to no one in charge The only advise I would give any potential shipper is to find a more reliable and customer service oriented logistics operator , otherwise cross your fingers, carry a four leaf clover , hang a Horseshoe around your neck and lastly, throw a pinch of salt over your left shoulder...otherwise may the luck of the Irish be with you.
