Ferg's Amp Shop is highly regarded for its exceptional amp repairs and custom builds. With over 50 years of experience, Ferg is known for his extensive knowledge and friendly demeanor, making customers feel like family. He offers quick turnaround times, typically 2-3 days, without rush fees, unlike other shops. Ferg's expertise includes repairing various amps, as well as creating custom pedals and hand-made amps, like the Ferg Tweed Zluxe. Visitors can also enjoy a tour of his shop, which features amazing vintage amps. Ferg’s dog, Bizkit, adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the shop.
Back in 95 Ferg built me a custom talk box out of a Sovtek amp crate. Dovetail joints, switchable, built like a tank, and even added a jewel light to see when it was overpowered. Played a bunch of gigs running my 5150 into that box, so much fun. Glad he's still in business. Thanks Ferg!

Very knowledgeable and a people person, Ferg will be my go to for any amp repairs, he also makes amps and custom pedals at request. His dog Bizkit is the sweetest thing and very well mannered. Ferg is practically family to me at this point and I've only known him for 2-3 weeks! Over 50 years of experience this guy!
