“The team at Athlon Sports is absolutely wonderful. The business can be a little hard to find, but thats because Richard and the crew dont waste money on frivolous things, they save all the value for the customer. Hs selection is out of this world and his prices cant be beat. He even purchases at a fair price.and always makes sure you know what you have. Great place, great people, they know their stuff.”
“The guy there was super cool and very helpful and friendly. He didn't buy what I had but he sent me to a place that did. I will be back to when i find something else.”
“I was in town from Michigan for my brother's 40th and thought I brought everything I needed to make his cake, but forgot some key essentials for the design I had in mind. Then, I had the idea for an edible image and searched out for a cake supply store nearby. I found Sweet City and gave them a call. They were extremely friendly on the phone and when I arrived in person they were even more helpful. I could've walked around for an hour and spent a lot more money, they had a wonderful selection! I tried some new extracts the cashier suggested for the frosting and it came out so great, I was so pleased! Thank you so much for all of the help!”
“This is one of my favorite stores !!! The owner is super nice and true OG ..lol... Great selection on Magic the Gathering, prices are on point as there grading of cards!”
“Pulled in thinking this was an action figure toy store (Funkos aren’t my thing) but still it was a fantastic experience! The owner took time to share his love for the hobby and give me a tour of the merchandise when he really didn’t have to.Next time I need a pop culture gift, this is where I’ll shop.Truly a next level experience!”
“We own Wedge Pizza & Pub. John and his team provided our games and atm. Southern games are top notch. If you need games, atms, money changers, cards systems these guys are the folks to call. Great service, great people!”
“Absolutely fantastic coin shop! I travel the country buying from coin shops and this one was a great stop. A nice large, clean layout. Plenty of room to browse, and dedicated desks for selling your collections. And they are expanding in the coming weeks. They offer a wide selection of collectible coins on display as well as a diverse bullion selection. Prices were fair and the staff more than friendly. I noticed a constant flow of customers, which means to me that they are doing things right and treating people fairly. I am already looking forward to visiting again next time I am in the Nashville area.”
“I recently got a dollhouse and decided to check this place out on a whim. It was like a miniature museum right when you walked through the door. It looks small from the outside but it’s actually quite big with multiple rooms. Anything you could want for your dollhouse they have. I could have browsed for hours. It was so much fun talking to the owners. Jean and Renee gave me a tour and helped me find a beautiful grasshopper weathervane. They even do dollhouse restorations. Overall it was my favorite find in Nashville and I can’t wait to return.”
“I'd went to a competing coin shop here in Nashville, but when I found out there was a coin shop within a 5 min. bicycle ride, I decided to give Nashville Gold and Coin Buyers a try. So glad I did! Hannah is very professional and you can often get an appointment on short notice! They publish and update what they will pay, and don't lowball you. Very good shop to do business with!”
“Beaded Bungalow is my favorite bead store anywhere - ever! I've been beading for many years and used to have a business and Beaded Bungalow has better quality merchandise than any bead show I've ever been to. Mr. Phil will spend as much time with you as you like. He is a great salesman and loves the beads he sells. I live in Kentucky, so I don't get to this store as often as I would like, but he will ship anywhere and send pictures of beads, etc, to help you get your bead fix! Here are a few examples of projects I made from Mr. Phil's beads. The Keshi pearls and morganite beads are absolutely stunning! The pictures don't do them justice. Until next time, Mr. Phil, God Bless and take care!”
“Everything is usually on sale, making the prices suspect but other than that it has what you'll need, typically. I'm sure at this point everyone is familiar with Michael's offerings but in case you aren't, you can get virtually any craft supply you can think of. It's a rather fantastic one stop shop for crafting needs. Yes you may be able to find cheaper (price but also cheaper quality mind you) items elsewhere but if you want to shop in person and only want to make one trip, you really can't beat Michael's.”
“I come here often, living nearby. They have essential tools for arts of different kinds, and usually suggest discounts and coupons, or have sales that benefit the artist's budget to go further in this economy.
For an update though.. there's quite a lot of patrons who come off as racist at this location. It's as if 1. The staff treat you differently because I'm black. Or 2. Their customers are rude and low key racist because I'm black, and they expect that the only colored people there must be a worker. I hope that they can change that so everyone has a nice shopping experience.”
“Reached out to RSA after purchasing an autographed helmet online. I had no idea who the signature was, but they were able to quickly and accurately identify the autograph. They had absolutely no obligation to identify it since I purchased it elsewhere, but they took the time to identify it anyway. I sincerely appreciate their time and expertise. I certainly recommend them if you're in the market for sports memorabilia since they're honest and trustworthy.”
