“Whilst choosing the best stay for myself on my first visit to Nashville, I was deciding between a couple of options but am so happy I ended up booking several nights at the Gallatin! Before even your arrival, the staff has excellent communication in ensuring you have the proper check in instructions and you feel confident you’ll be in good hands. The location is great as it’s in the center of East Nashville, conveniently located by coffee shops, restaurants and convenience stores that are walking distance. Ubers are relatively cheap (under $10) to get around nearby. The room I booked was cozy, perfect for one or two people as it’s compact but quiet and has every amenity you need. I love how vibrant and safe the hotel feels and I would definitely stay here again when visiting the city.”
“Beautiful, comfortable and sparkling clean hotel with wonderful staff, convenient location, beautiful room views and a nice variety of food options. It was our first visit to Nashville and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The hotel itself was wonderful, but it was the friendly and helpful staff that made it a truly exceptional experience. Renata and Ha in Stompin’ Grounds Restaurant always made our meals a happy one. We could not have been more pleased with our stay and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Nashville.”
“This hotel is by far the best. I've ever stayed in and my trips to Nashville. I had called and spoke to Alexis at the counter two days before my arrival. She was very polite and courteous on the phone call. When me and my party arrived, we met Alexis at the counter and she was more than exceptional. I booked four rooms, she kept us on the same floor and accommodated all of us. The staff there is phenomenal, even the parking attendant Maverick.
This will be my choice hotel upon my return.”

“Everything was great! The restaurant, the spa, the hotel, and the service. The parking situation is expensive, but it is downtown Nashville so thats to be expected. Valet was worth the additional cost. The hotel was modern, clean, and super conveniently located. Within walking distance to Everything we needed. The Henley restaurant was to die for.”

“The Maddox Hotel is the perfect place to stay in Nashville! Easy walk to Broadway and all the fun! Suite was clean, spacious and the decor just made sure you were in a Nashville kind of mood!

“I'm not a huge fan of hotels downtown, but his place doesn't miss the mark. Just of the interstate. The mattress and pillows make feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. Good bars all over. We enjoyed the pool. We had a great breakfast next morning. Chef Wendy made us an omelet to our specification. Lisa, conserage ensured everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend.”

The staff were amazing (shout to Mary for her event planning!). We enjoyed the directional for the conference and our event. The drinks and food at the bar were yummy and it was so cool in there amidst the TN heat! I’d love to host an event here again.”

“The only hotel I will stay at while visiting Nashville! This place is not the average Hampton Inn. It feels more like a boutique hotel. The location is great. The rooms, lobby and meeting areas are all exquisite. And the staff are all top tier, especially management and the front desk crew. Parking is easy. Breakfast is filling and included in the room rate. The list of positives is long and the list of negatives is nonexistent. Your search for a hotel in Nashville is over!”

Shemeka and Christian went above and beyond to help resolve a booking error that was done on my end, yet they handled it quickly, professionally, and with such grace. Their customer service made all the difference and completely turned my experience around. I cannot thank them enough for their patience, positivity, and willingness to help. “I stayed here with my mom while visiting Nashville. The room was really nice even though the USB ports between the beds and the wall plugs under the tv were not working. Pool was really nice. Laundry room was nice and the washing machines cost $3 per load, dryers cost $3 per load with the option to add 5 minutes for $.25 each and the washing machines and dryers only accept cards and contactless payments, the fitness room was really nice. The room keys are tap to the lock and I was able to put my room key in my wallet and just tap the back of my wallet to the door. Breakfast was really good with cinnamon rolls my favorite item. Staff were friendly”

“Hotel is very nice. Breakfast was good - clean tables and everything worked. The coffee was even good lol Rooms are cute, bed was not bad, on the firm side but I personally liked it. Bathroom was spacious, shower had good pressure. Our hair dryer was broken but we just went to the front desk and they had a replacement ready to go. I definitely will stay again. We stayed in a king room.”

“Had a fantastic stay here. The hotel is beautiful and you can tell it's been recently renovated because all the finishes and touches are brand new. Our room was great, and I'm still thinking about how spacious and beautiful the bathroom was.
Location is so awesome just one quick walk to Broadway and beside a big mall, so you're right near the action but still get a chic and upscale experience. The lobby and bar are stunning and have a fantastic atmosphere for a drink.
Huge shoutout to Philip Johnson the manager. VERY memorable service. He made our entire trip feel special. 10/10

“We spent the weekend at this hotel and it was a good day. The front desk attendance did a great job of getting us checked in without any delay. The hotel staff is very professional and very helpful. The rooms are very spacious and I like the layout. There are pots and pans and silverware and a stove for cooking and a small refrigerator with a freezer. The only thing I would improve is the breakfast.
Breakfast on Saturday was good and included turkey sausage. Breakfast on Sunday only had pork sausage. I was going to get a muffin but they were all gone when we made it to breakfast at 8:45. I settled for scrambled eggs and orange juice. They should also add a waffle machine or a pancake machine. There is a nice bar with a cool bartender with hot food that stays open until 10 PM. Overall, this was a good stay for us and we enjoyed it.”

“This is a great hotel. Just don't come here for the pool. It's tiny and dirty. I pulled plastic cups and straws out of the pool which was full of drunk people. There are about three lounge chairs so don't expect to get any time to lay out. Otherwise, great comfortable rooms and beds. Nice views. Good location slightly away from the noise on Broadway. Oh and the breakfast restaurant had slow service but good was very good.”

“An absolutely wonderful stay at the Renaissance. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted promptly and warmly, and the level of service throughout our stay was exceptional. The hotel was impeccably clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that made the entire experience feel effortless.
The valet parking service was also excellent. The valet team was friendly, courteous, and efficient, which made arriving and leaving incredibly easy and stress-free.
We especially enjoyed breakfast at Little Fib—the food was delicious and the perfect way to start the morning. The location is also incredibly convenient, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer without the hassle.
Overall, the Renaissance delivered a wonderful combination of comfort, style, convenience, and genuinely friendly service. I’m already looking forward to returning. Consider me thoroughly impressed—and that is not a compliment I hand out lightly.”

“Our trip here was amazing!! Tammy was really helpful and sweet while checking us in and gave us good recommendations for food around the city! Matthew was also very kind and attentive to us while we were at the rooftop bar and made sure we were good the whole time! The valet staff was helpful as well and helped put our bags in the trunk when we were leaving! I will always recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Nashville, and we will definitely be back!”

“Location is fantastic for us doing Americanafest in Nashville - East Nashville is the place to be! Very safe, walking neighborhood. The Russell makes check-in and out super easy with simple coded doors. My measure of a great stay is how is the bed, the shower (pressure and temp), cleanliness and noise factors - The Russell gets an A+ in all of these areas. There are nice complementary treats in the room. Also dont forget, part of your $$ goes to help the houseless folks of the area. This is our 3rd stay at the Russell. If you are looking for a hotel bar and hoping lobby -this is not your place.”
