She was hands-down one of the best hosts I could have asked for and really made an already fantastic experience that much better. And if you appreciate a little sarcasm and some good back-and-forth banter, Fran is definitely your person! She has a great sense of humor and knows how to keep things entertaining while still being professional and informative. Couldn’t recommend her enough. “Whilst choosing the best stay for myself on my first visit to Nashville, I was deciding between a couple of options but am so happy I ended up booking several nights at the Gallatin! Before even your arrival, the staff has excellent communication in ensuring you have the proper check in instructions and you feel confident you’ll be in good hands. The location is great as it’s in the center of East Nashville, conveniently located by coffee shops, restaurants and convenience stores that are walking distance. Ubers are relatively cheap (under $10) to get around nearby. The room I booked was cozy, perfect for one or two people as it’s compact but quiet and has every amenity you need. I love how vibrant and safe the hotel feels and I would definitely stay here again when visiting the city.”

“The Teddy Burger definitely earned it's burger kudos. Their chicken sandwich is huge and the chicken was delicious (ordered without the heat) along with the really great fries served with both dishes. We stopped here to grab a reasonably priced bite at a place close to Broadway without the noise and crowd of Broadway. This place fit the bill perfectly, although there was a preseason hockey game at the Bridgestone Arena that night so the place and the street outside end up being very lively and quite entertaining for people watching from the rooftop bar.”

“Decent size venue but felt huge. Staff was amazing. Not sure what all they sell outside of beer. I don't drink or smoke and i didn't smell one cigarette in the place. Everyone that attended the show on the 26 to see Brokncyde and Evil Twin with a few other bands were really polite and had a nice atmosphere. I felt comfortable letting my 12 year venture off closer to the stage without me having to be right beside her. I would definitely go and see more shows or whatever events they are having there. Cash only. Atm inside. About 4 dollars to pull off cash. *** ONLY!!!** downfall it was a bit warm. There is a shop type fan in there. They should invest in some ground AC units or a few more fans with exhaust system. That is my only complaint and still give a 5⭐ bathroom was pretty clean for 75 or so people in and out all night.”

“I stayed here for a conference at Vanderbilt. My room and the shared bathroom were clean. I had a full size bed, which was nice compared to the twin bed I was expecting. The trade-off was no tv in my room. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. I very much enjoyed the dining hall meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which was part of our conference. The food was delicious every time, and the staff were super helpful about dietary needs. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. One suggestion I would make is to have a sign with the name of each building on each side of the building instead of just one sign on one side, because it can be a bit confusing to navigate. I would happily stay here again.”

“We are not from the Nashville area and were planning our wedding and booked another venue that cancelled on us 3 weeks before our wedding - we were able to quick rebook with Traveller's Rest and it was perfect and even better than our original venue! The outdoor ceremony was beautiful, we were able to do our cocktail hour in the gardens, and the venue was perfect for our 130 person wedding. We worked with Ashley who was PHENOMENAL - so knowledgeable, accommodating, and worked so hard to make sure everything was in place and went smoothly. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone planning a wedding!”

“I stayed here with my mom while visiting Nashville. The room was really nice even though the USB ports between the beds and the wall plugs under the tv were not working. Pool was really nice. Laundry room was nice and the washing machines cost $3 per load, dryers cost $3 per load with the option to add 5 minutes for $.25 each and the washing machines and dryers only accept cards and contactless payments, the fitness room was really nice. The room keys are tap to the lock and I was able to put my room key in my wallet and just tap the back of my wallet to the door. Breakfast was really good with cinnamon rolls my favorite item. Staff were friendly”

“Our video production company is Filming near Nashville for the next few weeks and I wanted to find a place where I can upload video files. I called and spoke with Devin about this, And he told me that he would do some research and ask some of the people and find a solution for us. Later in the day, he sent an email with Information about upload speeds, weekend, availability, etc. After doing further research, I discovered that even with the fast upload speeds that they offer, it could take 12-24 hours to upload all of the data which would not really work for us. So, we will end up just having to ship a hard drive back to our home office, but I’m writing this review because Devin went above and beyond to help us out”

We enjoyed the directional for the conference and our event. The drinks and food at the bar were yummy and it was so cool in there amidst the TN heat! I’d love to host an event here again.”
