I stopped shopping at this Kroger when the self checkout started flagging customers for stealing because of “suspicious” activity, like they reach their hand in their purse. It’s humiliating and slows everything down when I’m trying to buy my groceries and I have to wait for a busy attendant to come over and review the video of me *not* stealing so that I may continue. I’m happy to drive farther to get to Publix these days (and their produce is way fresher anyway, doesn’t have mold and flies all over it). Worried about stealing, staff some cashiers! Pay them a respectable wage so they can support their families and maybe this Kroger won’t have such huge shoplifting losses!
Before any of my fellow shoppers think “well, they wouldn’t have to monitor for shoplifting if people didn’t steal: STOP. Do not turn against your neighbor. Kroger is just another corporation run by a CEO (Rodney McMullen, $16 million a year salary) who doesn’t care about paying real cashiers a living wage because he wants to expand his portfolio of mansions. Prices are too high and they tell us it’s “inflation” and it will come back down, yet corporate profits are soaring higher than ever. No, prices wont come back down — they have no incentive to lower prices when they find people will continue to buy at any price.
This Kroger is the worst. I’d love to see it improve because it is the closest grocery store to me.

Quite possibly one of the most disappointing krogers I’ve ever been to. There have been multiple occasions where produce goes bad well before the printed date. This has happened with meat, vegetables, fruit, basically anything that can go bad. There’s also this strange phenomena where things are never restocked. Things that frequently sell out are kept with minimal stock (normally what’s left is the flavors no one wants). And once that’s gone they just start shoving other items in that spot.
Genuinely very confused how this business is run

Not enough or any baked chicken either 8pc or 4pc. It's always fried chicken unless you want a whole bird!🤔

We were stopped at stop sign with the pedestrian crossing as people were crossing. The cart boy started yelling from the aisle behind us to move and proceeded to cuss and make threats as my fiance was headed inside. The so called "security" started cussing and calling me names as I waited to ensure that everything was okay. As I started to drive away they continued to harass me until I called my fiance and we decided it wasn't worth shopping there. The "security" came back out and threatened me again. I told her that I already had called him and that we would be leaving. She proceeded to stand near my car so I couldn't move to pick up my fiance and they started yelling at him and cussing at him and threatening him as he tried to make his way toward the car. It's not the first time I've seen this but, is the first time that they have directed this attack at me. They have been lacking in customer service and their employees steal kroger points (200 dollars worth). They have people constantly harassing and soliciting, people in the entrance with needles in their arms and it is always dirty. Do not shop here!

Got there before 10pm and they had already locked the doors. It was an emergency I had to get medicine for my daughter. If your hours are 10pm, then 957pm I should still be able to get in.

Decent store. The older gentleman at self checkout was kind, but customer service needed to be opened earlier for customers.

Low stocked. Had to request a clerk to check me out. Large orders are difficult for seniors.

Clean and organized store with a wide selection of grocery items. The pharmacy was only a few short aisles, but still found what was needed. Checkout was quick and easy.

It's a Kroger all right! The selection you would expect (when the shelves are stocked) at the price you would expect.
If you're coming for gas, though, make sure to check the prices at the 2 gas stations on Glenrose and East Thompson FIRST. This morning one of them was 7 cents cheaper per gallon and the other one was 10 cents cheaper per gallon.

I've been shopping at Kroger for over 30 years. I love Kroger. This particular one has a terrible check-out process, no matter your preference. Unless you roll thru at 7 a.m. checking out here is going to suck. Also, they sell out of everything good here fast. They always seem to be out of the things I want the most. It's borderline comical.

The few staff working 4/5/24 at 8pm (including the manager) were very unprofessional. The elf checkout person had to count out 26$ three times and the money was all over the place, the manager was off in the back and came to help a costumer and was very rude, lied about a service, and laughed off the customers complaint, and the cashier I used was very rude to her coworker(grocery bagger) to the point I wanted to tell her manager but couldn't bc he was so unprofessional. The produce which a costumer reported as bad and damaged the manager just told them to put it in another bag which made no sense...
These are all newer hires bc I shop here every week and have never seen them and let me say I won't be shopping there again. Mrs. Stacy is the bet and she is usually working the checkout on the weekend. Anyways I'm not shopping here until this new staff is fired and the old staff is back.
