  Wow really at 11 o’clock I pull up this sign was on the door really whoever put the sign up must’ve been gone for about an hour cause I went across the street to Shell gas station to get a drink and something to snack on and some gas still came out and there was a Amazon prime truck over at the pumps couldn’t get gas because somebody was playing

  Popped in after work last night grabbed a bunch of food and asked for a scratcher. Was told by a guy with long hair, sunglasses (at night), and goes by the name “Crimson” that you can only purchase them with cash. I told him I’ve been coming to this gas station for 6 years and have NEVER had to only pay in cash. Instead of maybe explaining that it’s a new policy or making any minimal effort, he got angry. He grabbed all the stuff I was purchasing off the counter and told me he was going to flat out just refuse service to me because I mentioned I never had to pay with cash ONLY before. When I said “are you serious?” he threatened to call the cops.
  
  Dude is on something and shouldn’t be working with the general public.

  So this is my neighborhood Mapco. It is a 24hr location. Or at least that's what is listed online and on the front door. Typically each morning at 2am they close for 30 to 45 min for whatever reason, money count, stocking, IDK. So I usually keep that in mind if I need to swing by during the night. Today, January 8th, I came out at 1am to beat out the close time. When I pulled up there was a customer at the pumps and another completing payment inside. Once parked I shot a quick text to my dear gal, took less than 2 min, during which the customer inside left. I went to enter the location (having parked directly in front of the front door, clearly visible) and found the door locked. The employee, who was standing at the registers, looked up and made eye contact, before lowering his head without even a head nod let alone speech. So I knocked on the glass door with a confused look on my face. He then mouthed we're closed before again lowering his head. Insanely rude and unnecessarily so. Nowadays I can't say I'm shocked, but I still found myself incredulous enough to make this post. Plz, if at all possible, avoid this awful store

  Closed the bathrooms and was extremely rude when asked about it. Was told they are not obligated to offer bathrooms to customers and that most other gas stations do not offer restrooms and if I don't like it I can go somewhere else.
  
  Not sure what gas stations dude has been going to but EVERY gas station I've been to with the exception of one that was on septic had public restrooms. Absolutely hilarious how they are handling the situation. I had been going in here on the daily for months spending between 10 and 20 each visit. Won't do that again.

  The pumps says they read Chip cards but they don't. One sticker even advises you to pre pay inside regardless of the card because even they don't think the machine will work I guess. It's 2024 Mapco these cards have been out for the better part of a decade. I understand not having touch, but the reader not reading the card at all and just prompting you to go inside is annoying. Also no tamper seal sticker anywhere on the pump that I could see. Don't buy gas here.

  They don't honor listed price. They are rude. They may or may not be open. One of the worker backed into my car and gave me fake insurance. The only reason I have stopped there is it's very close to my house. But I'm done. They will never get apenny from me going forward.

  This place is not consistently open 24 hours. At least 5 days of the week they are closed for around two and a half hours starting at 2:30-3:00AM.Additionally they have people splayed out on the ground near the entrance obviously suffering from addiction and lack of access to hygiene products.

  The Store and the Fuel Pumps area were clean and tidy as well as the Staff being friendly and helpful.
