“I come all the way from Joelton down to this post office because of the service and expertise the lady working here gives. She is passionate about her job and makes joelton post office look like a kindergarten. Thank you for all the help you give me on my little ebay business.”

“Went here to update my passport. Staff was helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable about the process. Mine required a re-issue instead of renewal so a follow up was scheduled to complete the application. This location provides Passport photo service onsite. Parking was easy and there was no line at 10 a.m. on a Wednesday. Highly recommend. I think they process a limited number of walk-ins up to a point. Otherwise, was easy to schedule an appointment. It seems the backlog has eased.”

“Hands down the most amazing post office and their employees! Ken has helped me a few times this week as I struggled to bring in a bunch of boxes. He came to me and offered help which I accepted. He then took my boxes and carried them for me. I had just left the hospital so his help was a big deal to me. Sometimes people do things and don’t realize the impact they have on someone’s life so I just want to take the time to say thank you. He touched my life and want people to know.”

“I love this office. They are the main office in the area so they are open long hours - even on Sunday. Hardly any wait and the clerks are always helpful and friendly. I send many packages out of state & they seem to arrive a day or two earlier compared to other offices that are closer to me. So I will continue to drive past those other post offices to go to this one.”

“I frequent this place just about every week. The staff is always friendly and do everything they can to help each customer. Sometimes it’s a little bit of a wait but it’s not their fault. It’s the customer that doesn’t know how to send a package off and needs assistance. My packages always get where they need to be in a very timely manner with little to no problems. I have a second option at a different location to do business but I prefer using this post office. Everyone there is busy and doing their job and I have had no problems with attitudes.”

“I own a small business and we ship frequently at USPS. First time at this location and I'll definitely be back. Kim was very helpful making sure our 100+ packages were dropped off safely. Thanks for a great experience!”

“I dread going into the post office. I had to renew my passport and Ms Donzaleigh was amazing. She was patient and kind. I was going to cry because these other post office workers at other locations will bark at you and make you feel stupid. I will be coming back to this post office even though it’s not my main one.”

“This is one of the smaller USPS locations in Nashville. This Christmas I was running behind on shopping and one Saturday I rushed to get a Card to my loved ones before it closed. Upon arrival I realized the holiday rush had already hit. I was in a hurry, and had an Uber waiting on me, so I tried the self-service kiosk, but it was out of order. I started to walk for the door, thinking I'd just have to do it the following Monday morning. Before leaving, I heard a voice behind me. "Is it not working?" And there was a sweet woman there with a stack of Christmas cards ready to mail out.I explained it wasn't, and with the line being so long I'd have to come back as I forgot my stamps at home. The woman kindly offered me the last of her four stamps so I could mail out the card, and it arrived before Christmas! I am so excited that there are genuinely sweet people like this out there in the world, and that I meet them at the US Post Office.”

“After reading the reviews, especially lots negative reviews, I really appreciate the informative parts. However, as a federal facility, there is very limited efforts for staffs to change any of those situations, especially passport issues. I witnessed today from 7:30-8:30 that the staff had to repeatedly explain to people who were not happy or had attitude to her. She had her the best patience and tried her best to be professional and respectful. Unfortunately, some customers were angry about the limit service about passports with attitude or verbally being rude. I can totally understand if she has attitude too. Fortunately, she didn’t lose her calmness and actually help people to make an appointment on ‘self-service’ system. We need to give her applauses and be nice and more understanding. Yes, I was there 4:30am this morning. Pancake pantry’s breakfast was a reward to myself. lol”

“This USPS is located at the fork where Harding Pike and Highway 100 meet and for the most part is your average Post Office location. It features all the standards such as PO Boxes, shipping stations, packing and shipping supplies for purchase and counters where you can be assisted through it all. Additionally, you get that same ole USPS-Annoyed customer service you are accustomed to! I stopped by to mail off graduation invitations for my nephew and my experience was a wild ride from the counter person being annoyed at the start to them offering to place the stamps on the envelopes and taking care of for me. I originally was thinking of mailing priority for all, but after pricing I decided that was not gonna work. The associate then gave me the run down of my options and when it was decided I would just mail them standard she rang me up and handed me my envelopes and the stamps. Then quickly told me that she could do it for me if I wanted, which I obliged. As with most USPS locations, they are not in the best of condition. This location certainly follows suit with that. Overall, this location did exactly what I needed it to do. I was able to walk in and out, while getting items mailed, all within 5 minutes.”

“A beautiful piece of Old Hickory Village history that still exists and is running. Walking inside is like entering a time machine. The wood and brass—it’s lovely. Yes, on some days it would be nice to have more than one window open, but I’ve been going there for twenty years and the most time I’ve ever had to wait is ten minutes. I remembering Nashville waiting up to 45-60 minutes—especially before Amazon, UPS and Fedx existed. We were all at the mercy of postal workers working at the counters, some of whom—well, that was a different time. This post office feels stress—free and pleasant. Staff is very attentive. No egos behind the counter. Friendly to everyone who comes in. That’s been my experience. Anyone coming into the village for the first time should definitely make a short visit inside.”

“While it's true that the hours are wrong and this SHOULD BE and quite frankly, IS, an easy thing to rectify for the satisfaction of the public, the employees working at this facility cannot control the government's google pages, nor their inability to do the simplest things. It's the government, after all. Are you really surprised? The staff have always been pleasant, polite, and attentive. I am pleased with the service I receive every time.”

“Wonderful experience today! I walked in with two big packages to be dropped off, and as soon as the clerk saw me he directed me to a place on the counter where I could leave them without having to wait. He made my day.”

“For some reason, I HATE going to the post office and will procrastinate when something needs to be mailed. However, the experience at this post office in Antioch makes it more enjoyable. This location would often have very long lines that moved slowly. Though the agents have always been nice, two of the current agents are exceptional. Keneisa and Tiara, have a lot of personality and interact playfully with the customers, while efficiently and professionally keeping the line moving. I often walk out with a smile now rather than a sigh. They are an asset to an agency that has suffered damage to its public image the last few years.”

“Haven’t had any issues with sending or receiving packages. Have mailed sensitive documents on express shipping and they always arrive on time and safely. It’s also a plus that it’s a mile down the road so can always stop by quickly”

“I came in to grab my keys for a new po box, and just happened to walk in as half of Nashville decided to also stop by.. The lobby got super crowded really quickly, and the only worker there at the moment named Mark handled it all super professionally. He was helping 2 &/or 3 customers at a time, dealing with people's mistakes and helping people correct issues with their orders all with a super positive and friendly attitude. I was blown away by how good he was at his job, but also just how great his attitude was during a highly stressful and annoying situation. This man deserves a promotion/raise, he's a crusher”

“I have used this PO for almost 13 years and never once have I been treated rudely here. Yes, it is frequently very busy and backed out the door, but I have learned the least busy times to go. Every single employee I have ever interacted with has been very professional.”

“I needed a post office urgently and when I tried the ones in Arcade and Broadway I realized they were permanently closed and those are the ones I normally use. I then searched for another one online and found this one at North East. The reviews weren't encouraging but I still decided to go because I was pressed for time. I reached the post office at 4:51 and there was only one person in line. I was assisted in one minute and was out by 4:53. Their closing time is 5:00 pm so I'm grateful for their efficiency. My experience was amazing. I will definitely use this post office from now on. Thank you guys for all you do.”
