I've been standing in line for over an hour! It's a Saturday and there's only 2 people working - slowest ever. When I arrived, there was 40 people before me. Thank God I got here when I did, because there's easily another 80 customers behind me waiting. People are visibly upset. No one from Thrifty has come out from behind the counter and said a word to these customers. Horrible Service!

Rental for six days here in Nasville. Decided to get an all electric car as i wanted to try one, and it was a few dollars cheaper than a gas car.Worked out really well, but charging stays in Nashville are a little pricy. So I haven't run the numbers yet to see if it was really the better deal.Was kinda cool, though. :)

Rented a car here last week and the line was long with only 1 person working. This person was trying to move people along as fast as possible because the line was so long. I got charged for additional service charges for insurance and road side assistance that I did not want. I was promised a reimbursement for those charges once the rental was closed and now they are not honoring what they told me.

Very rude. Car was paid for in advance so they had all my credit card information. Arrived with rental paperwork, credit card and driver's license. We took the shuttle from hotel to air port to get there and then they told me I needed my passport. Back to the hotel to get the passport, stood in line again only to find they had no cars ready. What is the reasoning behind having to show your passport when you had everything they needed in the first place?

Reading all the reviews I thought for sure they may have fixed their staffing issues...Well as of 10/28/23 that is not true. There are 21 people in line and one person(very pleasant) working the counter. When we first walked up there was two, and as soon as the gentleman was done with their customer he left. I've been in customer service for 12+ years and this is not exceptable. Thrifty BNA has lost our business for good. :(

Long line at the car rental counter due to cars not being ready by pick-up time. Several disgruntled customers, myself included. We wound up taking a larger vehicle. Otherwise we would have had to wait an uncertain amount of time (minutes?? hours??) for the full size class vehicle we had requested. We had just flown all night and all day and all we wanted was to get our vehicle and go to our hotel.We were charged the difference in price between the full size car we originally reserved and the 7 passenger SUV offered to us. Not happy!

I would give this location a zero star if I could, but unfortunately, Yelp will not allow it. There were two female employees, a black girl and a second girl with glasses and a bun, who looked like they did not want to be there. The one with the dark hair in a bun wearing the Roy Orbison glasses was the biggest B of them. A third black girl with a long curly weave, arrived, and I assumed she was going to help break the like, but unfortunately, she decided to just sit there and talk about her nails being done. Mind you, there were about 10 people waiting in line.Anyways, I reserved and paid for my rental in full through Expedia. When I arrived, they refused to accept my Mastercard because it was issued through PayPal. As I was discussing with the black girl, the bitter looking one with the Roy Orbison glasses decided to chime in. Finally I was told to go to the Gold room and that they would help me. I did, and they didn't. The customer service was even worse. I managed to get the PayPal Mastercard representative, and all of the employees refused to speak to her. Even the so-called male manager with the long dreadlocks. Finally, I called Expedia, and they were able to cancel my Thrifty reservation and get me a full refund and rebook with Avis. Unfortunately, I had to wait til the following day to pick up the car, and I had to cake a $70 dollar cab ride to my hotel in Franklin. Never again will I use Thrifty car rental, and I will tell everyone not to use them. I hope this review deters any potential Thrifty customers from using this ill-conceived mediocre agency.

Unbelievably slow with only one person working. No communication to the nearly 20 of us waiting. Not a single word. Finally a second person comes over and she says nothing! They are not friendly or professional! I’m so disappointed. What you save on value you spend on the lack of professionalism. This is bad. And so are they.

Arrived and waited 45 minutes because no cars were available. The woman at the counter asked us what kind of coverage we wanted, to which we answered (and always do) nothing extra. Come to find out, when we got the bill weeks later, that the contract included "premium roadside assistance." Read your contract carefully, as this has been our experience now twice with rental car companies.

Do not ever use Thrifty to rent a car. It is an absolute scam. They will not only charge you to rent the car, but then they'll charge you for the same rental AGAIN PLUS MORE, so you will end up paying 2.5x what you were expecting to pay. Then when you dispute the charge, it will take approximately a month for them to tell you 'too bad so sad.' I will NEVER rent with Thrifty ever again so long as I live.

The car rental process sucked honestly. Waited in line for a good hour, thankfully it was two days AFTER our flight so it wasn't immediately getting off the plane to a long line.When unexpected expenses arised, the gentleman renting the car out to us was very kind and accommodating and upgraded us to a newer car.The car was super clean, and it was very smooth driving through the Tennessee mountains.The return was super easy and smooth.

My fiancé and I just had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Bobbi as the desk agent take care of our car rental at the Nashville Airport. We had a bit of an issue with our one credit card that we originally booked the rental with and Bobbi went as far as to speak with the customer service agent we were speaking with over the phone to switch the card and name on the rental and get us a great rental for our stay in Nashville. If you have the pleasure of having Bobbi assist you at Thrify you're a lucky person!

Customer service was terrible! As others mentioned, they added hidden fees. Derrick was hard to understand: Talked fast and unclear. Didn't explain things clearly and made rude comments about how I must be a bad driver since I didn't want to be added as a driver and how we weren't awake to understand. Would not recommend!
