“It looks like it’s a newer DG and the store was a lot cleaner than a lot of the other DG I’ve seen out here in East Tennessee and the staff were very friendly”

These two ladies went above and beyond and helped a lot more than the two other Dollar Generals we had purchased from. The other two stores had told us we had to go through corporate to use the exemption.”

“The manager, Judy, stopped my 17 year old girl from being abducted by at Macedonian man with a Washington driver license who claimed to be a truck driver. Judy knows our family and felt something wasn’t right. Plus my daughter knew she could talk to Judy and she would help. The Newport Police came and questioned him but couldn’t do anything since he hadn’t touched my daughter. I am so grateful for Judy’s quick action and the Newport Police Dept for helping protect my girl.”
“Got what I needed quick. 5 people came in while I was checking out and asked to use the bathroom and were denied "because it was broken". My daughter had to go last week after a painful dentist visit and it was "broken" then too. If it was in working order, this would be a 5 star review.”
“This is the only store that i can find the shoestring potato chips that we used to get in a small can. They have them, but they are in blue bags for $1.00 each. And I love the $5.00 off coupon that's on your receipt, to go back on the next Saturday and use it. Saves us some money & is a great place to shop from. 5 stars!!”
