About Oak Ridge Animal Shelter
Oak Ridge Animal Shelter is a place run with love, compassion, and dedication by a wonderful, super nice, and professional team. The staff are very dedicated to getting all the furbabies homes and are patient, generous, and go above and beyond. They provide great support, ensuring the animals are well loved and cared for. The shelter has a wonderful setup and facilitates positive adoption experiences, even coordinating meetings with existing pets to find a good fit. They are also incredibly helpful in the community, making room and picking up lost dogs found on the street. While the animals are in excellent hands, a new facility with more space and updated things is needed for them to stay healthy while waiting for their furever homes. The adoption fee is very reasonable and includes generous gifts like treats and toys.

So grateful for the opportunity to meet and greet, then adopt my first dog, Zeo! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and sent us home with all the stuff we would need to make him comfortable.

I assisted my sister with surrendering a kitten she had found. They were so helpful and understanding. They were so warm and friendly to the scared little kitten.
