T.J. Maxx is a popular and busy store, described as a great addition to Oak Ridge where choice is very limited. It is a well-stocked store with really cute, stylish things for women, children, and men. The selection includes high-quality, brand name and designer fashions, along with interesting household items, home decor, jewelry, and luggage, often at a fraction of the price. Many items are new with tags. The store offers an ever-changing selection of hard-to-find goods, though if you see something you like, it may not be there later. The place has been cleaned up and looks more tidy and very organized, though some areas can still be cluttered. It is located in a walkable plaza with close, convenient parking and is well-lit. The store is always busy. While the male clothing can be pricey, other items are a great buy. Staff are friendly and helpful, though the store is sometimes not well-staffed and staff turnover seems high. It is a popular place to get a lot of good quality stuff for a good price.
Huge props to Shyan and her coworker! I was at the back of a line that went through the whole store, but they cleared it in 10-15 minutes. Seeing Shyan stay so calm and collected while providing amazing service was awesome. They deserve some serious recognition! The T.J. Maxx in Oak Ridge.
