When we brought it in, they diagnosed this issue and provided a complete quote. Also brought up an issue I knew I had that they suggested I fix (provided the same information). Quotes were more reasonable than having issues fixed at the dealer more than one hour away.
They quickly fixed the problems and called and emailed me when it was ready to go.

“Let me start by saying Hippies Fix It All in Oneida have been working on my cars for years, and I would never take my vehicles elsewhere. Whenever I have a mechanical issue, they get the vehicle right away..no waiting at all. The mechanic or usually the owner , Hippie, shows me the problem under the hood itself and explains what the issue is thoroughly in terms that I can understand, giving me an honest opinion on what the best course of action is for that specific vehicle.
One time for curiosity, I cross priced a particular repair with other popular mechanics in the area. Hippies prices was literally 50 to 75% of other leading shops.
As a woman, sometimes we worry that a mechanic will see us coming and try to swindle us given our lack of knowledge in auto repair. NOT at Hippies. I've never questioned the integrity of the owner at Hippies Fix it all, or their competency in making sure my vehicles remain in safe and tip top shape.
Why would I take my cars anywhere else?
If you have a repair you need done, and especially as woman who knows absolutely nothing about cars...your safe with Hippies ...take it to them. You'll be happy you did...”

“I have used their service several times over the years. It is great to have a shop that can diagnose the problem and technicians to work on the problem in the same place. It is also very helpful to be given a quote for all parts and labor before you have the work done. I do recommend them but you will often need an appointment before hand. Because they are a very busy place.”
