“I like this garage pretty well and you can trust the guys to do what they say they will and not overcharge you or screw you over. At least in my experience and as a woman I have never had any issues with this garage and they have always been super courteous, helpful and honest. I do my research when something goes wrong on a vehicle and I will know ahead of time what is usually wrong with it and how much it typically costs for the part and labor so I already know what I am going into and I don't get screwed around. I just don't want to do the heavy lifting and dirty work so I take it to professionals for that part but its imperative to know about your vehicle if you don't want to get kicked around.”

“I like this store because they are always well stocked on my sugar free red bulls and in everything else they have a good variety. The staff here is always nice and accommodating and willing to help. The bathroom is indoors and clean when I've used it. The store itself is clean and stuff is easy to find. They do not sell the kind of vapes I like but that would be my only complaint.”

“CLEANEST BATHROOMS EVER!!! ... We just stopped here on the way to Nashville from Asheville and would recommend it to any and everyone! I've never reviewed a gas station but this one deserves it. The girl at the counter was so very nice and you can tell that she and the other employees are hard workers bc the place is so tidy and clean. Especially the bathrooms. The ladies was cleaner than most home bathrooms! My hubby said the men's was too! That's a first for me! Marathon is lucky to have her and the other hard working employees. (Raises earned in my opinion ?)”
“Good produce, good meat, clean store, clean bathrooms, good parking with plenty of handicapped spots as well, decent prices with a food city value card. I would definitely recommend making sure that you use the value card for food city every single time you shop. Not only does it give you points to build up for gas visits in order to give you discounts on gas but the other day I rang up my bf and I entire order and it was like 30 more dollars than what I had originally added up and estimated in my head while shopping so I knew something was off or wrong and the store attendant brought it toy attention that I hadn't yet scanned any value card so to go ahead and do that and see how far it takes the prices down afterwards and then we will go from there...I scanned it and it literally took 30 dollars off my grocery bill. I couldn't believe it. I don't know if food city marks their prices up a bit here and there so they can then look as though they are giving us huge discounts or marking things down but either way I was glad that the bill went down 30 bucks! In short, don't forget to scan that value card and then later on use your value card to get gas visits! It's worth it in comparison to other stores around Newport.”

“Friendly staff and I like it that their bathroom is always open to use and clean in case your out in town and have to use the restroom or traveling. The owner is also very nice and recently opened another store which is a tobacco outlet further up cosby highway. I would recommend people to stop here who are local or travelers coming through. ?”

“All the employees are extremely friendly and ready to help the customers, and they know most of the customers from daily stops and know what most customers are going to get by the time the customer reaches the window. Some of the customers come on a daily basis and the employees will start getting their items that they usually buy every day and the employees will already have it laid out by the time the customer reaches the window, I call that true service. That means they get to know their customers and know their daily buys. I have seen the customers be so happy with the employees that they will stand and talk to other customers about how nice the employees are and about how they are always asking the customers how their children and families are, most customers feel like family to these employees. They are the best.”

“Clean bathrooms, moderate prices, gas is just as expensive as anywhere else and the gas is not as good as some places but if it's late and choices are slim I would choose here or Exxon but not during the day when more options are available for gas. They have pretty decent burgers and other lunch options during the day around 10:30-11:00AM- 2PM daily. Staff is always nice and helpful and mask isn't required to enter and there is no line to enter this store either. It does have an air pump outside but sometimes it's working and sometimes it doesn't. Depends on the day. They usually are good about keeping a sign out out of it's out of order though. You have to ask for the key to use the restroom but they aren't outside or anything and are just right inside the store. They stay well stocked on variations of drinks, snacks, etc. They sell half and whole gallons of milk and also things like bread, butter, lunch meat, etc. I can't remember if this gas stop sells diesel or not and I do know they have oil and lots of other small car and truck grabs you may need for your vehicle without having to go into a parts store. I'll update this if I can think of anything else.”
