“Tons of selection of men's clothes and shoes. I felt like the kids shoe section was particularly bland though. The line was super long to check out but moved pretty steady so not terrible. We came in because my daughter needed a new pair of shoes asap (hers fell apart while hiking) and she was able to find a pair she liked. We saved about $15 compared to buying online.”
“It’s the go to for anyone hiking. I have been to many outfitters and there are some great ones out there but it’s just so hard to come anywhere close to an REI and its return policies. The thing with hiking gear is it all looks great but when it’s put to the test sometimes that stuff doesn’t quite work as designed. REI will back you up on your adventures. Staff are very helpful but hike your own hike and get what works for you - these guys will have it or they can get it.”
“The last open Big Dog store I have seen. According to them, they are the only one, besides the online store. There are plenty of options and reasonable prices. It's worth a stop.”
“Was pretty cool to see a live alligator even though it didnt move either time we were in the store! Bought 2 hermit crabs from here and extra shells. Cashier was extremly nice, cant remember her name! Will come back as they have funny gag gifts along with cheaper souvenirs!”
“This store is an absolute must for anyone visiting Gatlinburg! I remember years ago coming here with my father. I was mesmerized by the vast selection of weapons. I picked up these stress balls many years ago and still keep them as a reminder of past times.Anytime I'm in town, it's a must to stop in here. I know pricing was very fair years ago... not sure how it is now tho.Good Ole memories ✌?”
