“This is a must stop! They have just about anything you could think of. Stopped by to get a hot hand pie Apple, Blueberry, Peach or Cherry. These are so good and add some ice cream with a small cup of hot apple cider and it's so good at a really great price.Watched them carve some wooden bears and paint one they had already finished. The amount of COFFEE in the main store is amazing it smells so good.If you're heading from the mountains this is a stop that's great ?”
“Smaller store with less selection than most. Very clean and well organized. One associate working who never spoke or smiled. The mall is undergoing renovations, this store seems to be more impacted than others as it has two additional portable air conditioners permanently installed. Normally a trip to one of these stores has my kid trying to spend at least $50, however, this location just didn't have as much to offer and I dodged a bullet. It's ok, but again, a smaller store.”

“Listen, the ice cream ? ? ? ?? is a hit! If business is slow, just allow someone to have a cone outside the door. I don't eat fudge and am lactose intolerant, but I went for it. The butter pecan scoop on a waffle cone ? hit the spot. It was also a great value, money well spent! Lactaid to the rescue!”
“If loving Mountain Brothers General Store is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
I would happily cross state lines, skip work, cancel appointments, and explain myself to confused loved ones just to get my hands on their fried pies. These aren’t just fried pies. They are a life event. One bite and you start questioning every dessert choice you’ve ever made before this moment.
The service is unreal. Everyone is so friendly and dialed in that it feels like you just walked into a place where people genuinely want your life to be better. Smiles, efficiency, kindness, flawless execution every single time.
And the fried pies. Listen carefully. These fried pies are consistently perfect. Not pretty good today. Not depends on who’s cooking. PERFECT.
Then you think it’s over. You think you’ve peaked.
And then comes the ice cream.
The ice cream is the cherry on top, literally and spiritually. It is the victory lap. The mic drop. The reason you sit in your car afterward staring into the distance, reconsidering your travel budget and wondering how far multiple states really is.
Mountain Brothers General Store isn’t a stop. It is a destination. If you haven’t been, fix that immediately. If you have been, you already know I’m underselling it.”
