“The store was very cute and had some interesting items. My favorite part was the cafe which sold chocolates, baked goods, coffee, etc. The white chocolate raspberry scone was delicious and I loved the lavender lemonade. All the employees were super friendly and helpful. They even recommended a local distillery that had amazing cocktails and some of the best food we had on our trip. If you're ever in the area, I recommend stopping in to look around and try some of their tasty food and beverages.”

“This is the sweetest ice cream and fried pie shop you’ll find in the area. The staff is incredibly kind and they make you feel like family. We aren’t from the area and they went above and beyond to recommend different sites to see while we were in town. It’s also super peaceful in the area and has beautiful views. This is definitely the place to be if you’re driving through.”
“Best little gift shop to visit when in sevierville! We make it a must on all our visits. Just happened in on day and been going back ever since. Super nice and clean. Rare gifts and a joy to look around. We love it!!!”
“Grandma must be cooking in the back with love. Nice mild not to over spiced good home cooked meals. A place you can take the whole family to. Everyone that works here is always so nice and accommodating whether it's at the restaurant or the stores. The whole place will become a family tradition. Go see for yourself you will thank me.”
“This staff is WONDERFUL!! I and my team have been back and forth several times this week preparing some vacation rentals in the area, and they have been so helpful, friendly, and kind every time. This store has a great variety of options and great prices.”
“My favorite place in the whole world to shop.I buy most of my birthday and Christmas presents there. Everyone always loves their gifts. Very unique and good quality sparkly things, smell good things.”
“Excellent service and great log products! We've been buying all our railing here for the past 10 years and they always provide excellent products and great service.”
“I ordered 4 dog bowls and absolutely love them . I got 2 in a turquoise and 2 in the olive color they do , I thought the turquoise would have been my favorite but the olive is breathtaking . These are BEAUTIFUL and quality pieces that I am excited to be able to use ? I will definitely order more products in the future .”
“We visited the Kirkland's in Tanger Outlet. The traffic and parking was terrible this time of year. However, we enjoyed Kirkland's great sales and the place itself was very festive.”
“Went shopping here looking for a bday present for myself, ended up picking up a few items. The employee was very friendly. It was a Goldilocks of stores, Some items seemed underpriced, some were overpriced a tad bit but not too much. And some items were spot on.
From other reviews Ive read, it seems Some people seem to leave with a bad taste in their mouths because of a few items that are in the store pertaining to black Americana, it's really like 3 small shelves in one out of 100 cases, I didn't let the negative reviews stop me and you shouldn't either.
Truth is (from what I gather) the owner hunts for cool and unique items from all over the country trying to fill the needs of many different types of collectors. As you have to do in this type of business
And I can't help but say The lady working there is as sweet and helpful as ever. So don't be afraid to ask her questions.”
“Good prices on items I can usually find something for my grandkids (4 of them they vary in size) and things for me 6ft5 240lbs 42waist 2 xl shirt size 14 /15 shoe.”
“We LOVE this store! Such good prices and so many good things to find + purchase. Anytime we need something (like a tank top or new active shorts) we ALWAYS choose to run over here to see what they have. I also love their rewards program. You actually get $ off after spending so much. I've spent about $120~ and I've gotten so about 4 $5 off rewards for spending that much. Well worth it. This place is also HUGE and spaced out so everyone isn't right on top of each other. Last time we went, they had two registers open which had everyone in the line moving quickly. Sometimes, the check out process can be a pain. We have waited in line before for 10+ minutes waiting to check out due to them only having one person working at the checkout line..Everyone who works here is also kind + helpful. I would recommend visiting here. We will be back soon!!”
“If loving Mountain Brothers General Store is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
I would happily cross state lines, skip work, cancel appointments, and explain myself to confused loved ones just to get my hands on their fried pies. These aren’t just fried pies. They are a life event. One bite and you start questioning every dessert choice you’ve ever made before this moment.
The service is unreal. Everyone is so friendly and dialed in that it feels like you just walked into a place where people genuinely want your life to be better. Smiles, efficiency, kindness, flawless execution every single time.
And the fried pies. Listen carefully. These fried pies are consistently perfect. Not pretty good today. Not depends on who’s cooking. PERFECT.
Then you think it’s over. You think you’ve peaked.
And then comes the ice cream.
The ice cream is the cherry on top, literally and spiritually. It is the victory lap. The mic drop. The reason you sit in your car afterward staring into the distance, reconsidering your travel budget and wondering how far multiple states really is.
Mountain Brothers General Store isn’t a stop. It is a destination. If you haven’t been, fix that immediately. If you have been, you already know I’m underselling it.”
