Where to begin... Their application process was beyond extensive, borderline invasive with some of the questions. I understood fully that they may not communicate in a timely manner, but good lord was it a struggle to get a response. After asking me questions that were already answered in the application, I had to ask several times for any response. When I finally got one, all they said was I "wasn't a good fit", despite having extensive experience in caring for the dog I was interested in adopting. They say the dog would do best in a home with a single person, despite the foster home he is currently in having multiple people and pets in. It's like the foster home just wants to adopt him, but won't. I don't know. It's just super weird and frustrating. I feel like if I had offered a large donation I would have been approved. If you see Snooty Giggles listed as the organization, STAY AWAY!

I am leaving a 1 star because i asked a simple question regarding the neutering contract. It stated *if applicable * i asked what they meant by that. Because of this simple question they decided they would not allow us to adopt a puppy that we fell in love with. Won’t even answer the phone to discuss. So if you want to adopt better not question anything or they will automatically say you are no longer allowed to adopt.

So this place definitely suits its name. They are SNOOTY. I'm a veterinary technician and I work with many animal rescues in the Nashville area. This is amongst one of the worst. Not in the way they treat their animals, they're great in that regard. But the way they treat people! They are rude, hostile, accusatory, probably some of the worst customer service I've ever seen out of a rescue. I hate to say it because I want all animals to find homes but if you're looking for an animal go somewhere else. Tru Rescue in Mount Juliet is amazing, AdoptaGolden in Nashville is great. Even Crossroads or Love at First sight in Nashville. There's one guy at Crossroads who's a little arrogant but everyone else there is perfectly pleasant. And Love at First sight, the way they handle people and animals is wonderful. They're very welcoming, I do have some problems with something specific in their contract but they are 10X better than Snooty Giggles. This place does NOT need to be working with the public. If they want to rescue animals and then work with the Humane Society or Animal Control to help get them adopted out, great. But they absolutely do not need to have any dealings with the public. Definitely go almost anywhere else!

I would not recommend. I work from home the majority of the time and only away from the house a day a week for a few hours or on the rare occasion two. That by itself disqualified me from being able to adopt. What in the world?

My bad for not posting prior, but I adopted over a year and a half ago and had absolutely wonderful experience. I was the lucky recipient of one of the Scottie puppies. I drove from FL to TN. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you snooty Giggles!!!

Shawn Aswad is a very nasty lady. She's rude, and doesn't actually care about dogs at all, she's more interested in finding tax loopholes with her \\\"non-profit\\\". All the other reviews speak for themselves.

So bummed because it took me forever to fill out an application and got rejected because I don’t live near the foster mom. First let me mention that I sent in an application and didn’t hear back for two weeks until I sent a follow up email and the email I got back was short and to the point—no. I even sent follow-up emails after in seeing if he was still available—I had my eyes set on a dog that reminded me of my dog that recently passed away. My boyfriend and I have dealt with rescues, puppy mills, and senior dogs. I have a background in caring for my dog (the one that recently passed) who had Alzheimer’s, Cushings, arthritis, was deaf, and eventually became blind. I would exhaust my resources in making sure our dogs got the best possible care and life. We also both work from home!! I was also willing to travel to meet with the foster parents and meet the dog a few times because I felt it was worth the money, I still got declined. I’m not sure if they have the dog’s best interest at heart, or their own if they’re not willing to see how much work I was willing to do to adopt one of their dogs.

I was so impressed that their application process was so extensive. I spent 30-45 min filling it out, honestly, providing as much information as possible. Even more references than requested. I was turned down simply b/c I didn't have a fenced in yard. I understand if they feel a dog needs one, but they just go down the application and if they reach something they don't like, then it's a NO. They don't bother to communicate to see what other options there are and if the dog might actually still be a good fit. IF they would've read the entire application, they would see that the dog would not be left out alone, go to daycare (once of age and fixed), have insurance, and be in a home where there is already a well trained dog living her best life going on all the trips and vacations with me. They make the application so extensive, but then don't, IMO, thoroughly vet the applicants by giving them a call or an appointment to interview/vet them. Kinda like a smoke and mirrors situation. They didn't even try to find or mention another dog that might've been a better option. I had been looking at breeders and decided to check adoption places. It's sad b/c their process of just throwing out no's is what helps keep breeders and puppy mills in business. And then some of those dogs end up in horrible homes. I planned on giving well over the adoption fee b/c I wasn't using a breeder and the cost was significantly lower. I do hope they start adjusting their adoption process, and vet their applicants better. I guess I will find another shelter or start searching again for a breeder. At least they will take my money and allow me to have a dog and that dog will have the best and most wonderful life possible.

Wonderful adoption organization! Very responsive and attentive. They want to make sure your a good fit for your dog. You will have to do a meet and great with your foster family as all dogs are at foster homes and not in a kennel somewhere. I appreciate the extra concern. They really do care for each dog they have! Thank you Snooty Giggles!

I was disappointed to go through the application process only to find out many days after waiting that they wouldn’t approve our application because we previously had a dog at some point in our life that was not neutered and was (responsibly) bred only a few times. . we also provided multiple references above and beyond our vets. Instead of caring about our character, how well we cared for our furbaby and responsibility / dedication to quality care — they only cared about that one detail. We are a very loving family who lost our 10 year old lab in 2020 due to old age…. After taking 2 years to grieve his loss, we decided we wanted to try to rescue this go ‘round … such a disappointment to be met with rejection of this level. Very impersonal, cold experience. Not impressed.

We got two lifelong angels, Mac and Zoe , from Snooty Giggles. The whole process was simple and The folks at Snooty clearly loved these pooches and took great care to make sure we were the right people for these two dogs. I cannot sing their praise highly enough!

Denied my adoption application just because I have a full time job. Even though I work in the veterinary field meaning the dog I was highly interested in would be coming to work with me every single day. If anyone knows of another way to take care of a animal without working for it, let me know because obviously I have it all wrong.

Wow, this rescue makes no sense! Their \\\"About Us\\\" page is bizarre. I'm not sure of their mission, but it's clearly not working with hopeful adoptive families. If this is your first rescue, try another adoption agency! So many pups need homes and the process doesn't have to feel bad.
