“George and his staff were a pleasure to work with. I was having issues with my 2001 GMC Duramax (LB 7) going into limp mode. I took it to a number of mechanics, but no one was able to properly diagnose or fix it until I finally found A-Star. George did some initial testing and then concluded the injectors needed replacing and quickly did the work. That was a little over a year and a half ago and 20,000 new miles on it! It runs better now than it ever did before the issue arose. I haven’t had a bit of any problem since! Thank you George for saving my beloved truck. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for diesel related issues. I was told that George was the “Duramax Whisperer” and they were absolutely right!”

“Auto Angel! My oil warning light went on in the midst of a 4,500 mile journey, on a Saturday night. Richard met me at 9 a.m. on a Sunday to diagnose, fix, reassure and send me safely on my way. I'm a little old lady who's used to being oversold by mechanics. His staff was also there on a Sunday, all of them polite and pleasant. It lifts the heart to find capable, competent, caring strangers.”
“Thanks to the skills and know how, Miers saved us thousands of dollars! We hit a pothole and thought it had broken all the motor and transmission mounts plus the computer indicated a transmission fault. But the mechanic inspected it closely and found that several bolts had sheared off the mounts and he was able to fix it for a fraction of the cost of replacing them, plus the jolt of the pothole had unplugged wires going to the transmission causing the transmission failure!! I’m a new customer for life!! Thank you so much!!”

“My best friend recommended them and they weren’t wrong. Fain’s is a great place to get your car repaired. They’re thoughtful, reliable, and professional. When I went to OReilly’s to see if they could run a check on my car, I mentioned that my regular mechanic was full up. The mgr asked me who my regular mechanic was and I said Fain’s = Jason. The mgr said that’s good. He’s a great mechanic! One time my daughter’s car broke down and she left it where she was. I called Fain’s and they hooked me up with a good wrecker who picked it up right away and took it over to Fain’s for me. I really appreciate Hool and Jason. Highly recommend them!????????????”
