Rooms were clean and spacious. Unfortunately the NO SMOKING rooms smelled of skunk. The smell traveled into our room where my child slept. I was greatly disappointed.

Great customer service, kind staff and very accommodating, clean rooms, reasonable prices compared to other hotels around. We were able to check in late at night comfortably. The best part - they are pet friendly! ?

Staff is very helpful, beds are supportive (I weight 160, and say they were medium firmness), everything worked in the kitchen, water pressure is good, and the rooms are clean. The pool is very small though, the elevator quit working while I was there, and the parking situation is not good. Wouldn't recommend for anyone traveling with a trailer or bobtail semi.

I travel alot for work, and this is a common place for me to stay between my travels. It has always been a great place to stay. Never had any terrible experiences here, especially if Rozella is working. She's always super helpful, and makes sure my stays there are the best!Food & drinks: Walmart nearby and other good restaurants within walking distance

I’ve booked with Candlewood multiple times threw a third party app (Priceline) that works problem free at numerous hotels. For some reason every time I book with this hotel I arrive late night to find out my reservation has been given away yet my card was charged (card was required for reservation) My card has NEVER been charged JUST for booking threw Priceline (Hotel is purchased upon arrival yet reserved) It’s been a week and I’ve yet to receive my refund of payment… After speaking with multiple Priceline representatives they’ve stated it would take a day for a refund on there end so if there were to be any problems it would not be there responsibly but would fall unto the hotel’s responsibility… At this point I think they’re taking walk ins and making more money yet charging people’s cards threw Priceline ALSO. This is a scam and has never happened to me or anyone I know at any other hotels I’ve stayed at. This now has happened to 2 other family members of mine. If you cannot afford to be in business with Priceline you shouldn't scam people and stick with walk ins.

No absolutely terrible experience, especially with the black heavy set woman working afternoon shift at front desk. Very nasty and lazy, no people skills whatsoever, extremely slow, never answered phones, and thrived on causing guests horrible stay.. Please never book there, spare yourself this trip..

Generally I never leave a review but when I walked in i was greeted by the receptionist who provided excellent customer service, the receptionist Erin showed she truly cared about the customer, she’s is extremely eager to help and keep your stay comfortable. Want to state the room was outstanding ! Had everything I needed. I recommend the stay, Will come back! VERY clean! Candle wood is the place to be.

I stayed there a week when my mom passed. 5 star rating only because of the awesome efforts from Rozella ( hope I spelled it correctly), who always had a smile on her face and a warm greeting every time I saw her. From what I saw she was the only one cleaning and the only friendly one of the bunch. She was a glimmer of sunshine in a very dark time in my life. I had a previous review of this hotel. My dad's phone was stolen from this hotel and fortunately, one of the managers came and reviewed the video and saw the thief. However, nothing has been done to apprehend the thief. We are being told that the video at the parking lot does not give a clear view of the license plate number. If the video from the front desk shows his face and the act, why making a decision not to apprehend the perpetrator based on the parking lot video?

I never leave bad comments unless it's really bad. This hotel is definitely on our "Never Again" list. ?1st Room toilet would not flush. It was Thanksgiving so no maintenance. They moved us, 2nd room went to open bathroom cabinet and it fell off hinge on the floor. ?The Hotel in general is overall dirty and has a musty smell. This DEFINITELY is not up to quality you receive at a IHG hotel.You definitely get what you pay for. ?Staff was nice-front desk agent made cookies to bring for customers but unfortunately it doesn't take away the overall experience.I hope they renovate, improve but this is definitely not a hotel I would recommend until changes are made. ?Noteworthy details: Good location

This hotel was the worst. After 3 different room switches I gave up on the 4th and stayed in that room. The first room the AC was not working or the tv. The second major water leak with the dish washer. The third AC. My 4th and final attempt at a room the AC quit working in the middle of the night. It smelt like it had burnt which in turn made the entire room smell that way. Because the hotel was full I had no choice but to stay put.If you are considering this hotel STOP it! Do your self a favor and stay else where. More than a handful close to this location.Absolutely AWFUL!!!!!

We had to travel to Abilene for my son's surgical procedure and our stay here was disgusting. Our room did not have any silverware or appliances. The water in the tub was not draining well. There did not have any wash towels and we were told to use dish drying towels. A bag with a used condom was found by my 2 yr old son on the side of the bed and when asked to move to a different room due to the uncleanness we were told that they were "full." So big thank you to Stephania for not fully cleaning, sanitizing or stocking our room!

EXCELLENT SERVICE! EXCELLENT ROOM! INCREDIBLE COFFEE! I highly recommend. Will come back! VERY clean! The customer service reps are helpful and extremely eager to serve and keep your stay comfortable. Tiffany has my heart. She was informative and very helpful with all of my needs during my stay. Some people talk about it. Candlewood is about it!

I got all over the country setting up new stores and my company puts me in hotels of their choice. This hotel may have a mow rating, but I believe it is not an accurate rating by my experience. Maybe because o have seen what I would truest call a 3 star hotel. If you are not the type to only see negatives and see positives the. You will totally enjoy your stay as I did. Here is my experience and thoughts. Yes there is a lot of negative reviews on this hotel. Is it a five star hotel, absolutely not! However, it is very clean, yet aged. I have been here for 4 1/2 weeks and the staff is absolutely over the top awesome! They are what make this hotel a five star rating! I have been moved into three rooms due to many different issues, but they were quick to move me into a new room and also give me upgrades to make up for it. I’ve spoken to other that went into my previous rooms and the issues have been fixed already. Also the room service is very good! Coming into this hotel, you just have to understand it is an age hotel in the process of being upgraded. A lot of people say breakfast is not available, that is not true. We have been able to have breakfast at the hotel next-door because it is owned by the same owner With the breakfast and a crew and the full size refrigerator and soft top in the rooms, it makes it worthwhile in my opinion. I have been in three rooms, and have seen no signs of bugs or uncleanliness.

This place is showing its age - curtains falling down in windows; worn surfaces; a side entry door that did not lock and grounds that are worn by foot and pet traffic. Our room did seem clean but we only used the coffee pot in the suite and I would not have used any of the other kitchen utensils without washing. Just me - they seemed clean but I would want to make sure. The free coffee in the lobby was terrible. The sundry are was reasonably stocked. We needed a place that would accept a pet. Will look for something else on the next trip.
