Candlewood Suites Abilene by IHG offers a friendly atmosphere and convenient location, making it a suitable choice for travelers, especially those on work assignments. Guests have noted that the staff, including the front desk personnel, is welcoming and helpful. However, the hotel shows signs of wear, with reports of outdated rooms, cleanliness issues, and a lack of breakfast service, which disappointed some visitors. The rooms are described as spacious but in need of updates, with concerns about sunken floors and rust in bathtubs. Some guests appreciated the little touches, like the Dove products provided, while others found the hotel somewhat run down and suggested alternative options in the area. Amenities include a small coffee shop and a designated area for pets, though the upkeep of the dog walking area has been criticized. Parking is generally adequate, but the hotel features only one elevator, and luggage carts must be returned to avoid a fee. While some guests had enjoyable stays and highlighted the staff's prompt service, others felt the hotel did not meet their expectations. Overall, Candlewood Suites Abilene may be a decent option for some, but others may seek better alternatives nearby.
I stayed in this hotel for almost 30 days, and the front desk Amy helped me a lot. She deserves a pay raise. The business center is down and she steps in to help. Need a room for two beds, she tries to arrange. What else can I say! She really tries to make customer feels take care.

If you suffer from allergies 🤧 😪. Dont come here. I am surprised 😮 to see the AC unit is still working with all this dust and mold.
