I was trained by an actual Marriott hotel Opening Manager therefore I know Marriott is all about hospitality and treating all ethnicities with utmost kindness and respect. This was done in 2015 at Fairfield Inn and Suites Snyder Texas. It's 2025, Courtyard Marriott in Abilene just told me they were going to have me banned for using their restroom . I'm not sure who the property Management company is but they clearly have no training or are upset that other employees do because they allow me to eat complimentary breakfast without harassing me and knowing I'm homeless at this time. Keep in mind I just recently stopped working for Towneplace Marriott because I cut my hand in the bathroom and was told I couldn't charge my phone. Who is allowing these people to swap out with real trained employees just to swap uniforms and do whatever other illegal activities they perform? I've Never known any hotel to employ persons who do not understand what HOSPITALITY is.

Very quiet stay and will be my choice for my next stay in Abilene, Texas.
The balcony room was extremely comfortable and very quiet and I was able to see my vehicle from my room.
Service was fine, although I did pay for breakfast in my reservation, three different staff members had to confirm I did so before preparing my food. This was a bit cringy but we did eat and it was a fine little meal.

This hotel was very accommodating to me. I was able to check in early and check out late which was very needed. When I asked for a plate and silverware it was brought to me quickly. Room was nice but the walls are very thin. I could hear a whole conversation that was happening next door and it seemed they were talking at a normal volume.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The room was spotless, and the common areas were just as immaculate. It’s clear the staff takes great pride in keeping the place looking its best.
Speaking of the staff, everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home, always greeting me with a smile and ready to help with anything I needed. A special shoutout to Leah—she was by far the most helpful and kind person I met during my stay. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed.
Another huge plus is the location. The hotel is super convenient to a ton of amenities—restaurants, shops, and local attractions are all just a short walk or drive away. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, you can’t beat the convenience.
Highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

This is a dated hotel but it is clean and the customer service is great.

Pleasantly surprised that this Courtyard is as familiar as they used to be. I travelled a lot on business and Courtyard was my hotel of choice because they felt so familiar. 20+ cities in a year and that’s important and this Courtyard didn’t disappoint. Staff was awesome and accommodating of our Aussiedoodle. This was our first “trip to Abilene” but now we’re know where to stay.

Very nice experience! Our rooms where clean which is a plus. I own commercial cleaning business so I definitely paid attention. The water was HOT so no running out of hot water. The pillows were nice, Not sure if they were feather pillows or not but there were three to each bed and all three a little different so you had a variety. I found the mattress also comfortable. We interacted with three different staff members, and they were all very pleasant and helpful! The only reason I gave a four star was this hotel only accepts card, NO CASH! Very disappointing! I would like the option on how I pay. Good place other than that.

Very disappointed with this hotel for it to carry the Marriott name it gave more or less motel type of comfort. One of my biggest complaints was thatMy hotel room didn't have hot water and I had to be moved to another room. I wasn't offered any kind of compensation of any sort for having to stay in the room for a full day before being moved. The tubs needed to be resurfaced bad. It felt very unclean to take a shower in the bathroom. The lady at the bistro tried her best to accommodate the party of 16 we came with however, she was overwhelmed and let it be known. They staffed her with no help so our breakfast vouchers proved to be useless because the wait was so long. (Not her fault) The rooms where a nice size and the location was really good! But overall not a good stay and probably wouldn't recommend or return.

The service was substandard. This was my first visit to Abilene and was here for 3 days, the tub was filthy with rings around it, had a tissue box with literally one tissue and a role of tissue in bathroom with enough tissue on it for one use. Our rooms came with a complimentary breakfast voucher and the restaurant had one young lady working both register and cooking. Needless to say, the food took forever to prepare, so much so that we chose to pay for our breakfast the next morning at an outside restaurant. No room service provided, had to ask multiple times for additional towels and necessities. I would never revisit this location again.

When booking through the Marriott website it said that breakfast was included in the room we had chosen, however we were told upon checking in that it wasn't. If I had known that I would have chosen the other package that included 20% off the pet fee. So someone needs to update the website or they need to actually offer the services advertised upon booking. The room itself was okay. Just a basic hotel room, nothing above and beyond. Lots of minor things that needed fixed throughout the hotel, like the stairs up to the room had carpet pulling out, bathtub drain didn't plug, the underneath the beds were exposed and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while because my dog kept finding and pulling out little pieces of garbage. The mini fridge door was backwards from the cabinet it was installed in so you would have to shift it sideways to open the door, and that little freezer part very badly needed defrosted. Just a lot of little things that, with all the taxes and fees and the cost of the room really didn't seem worth it. I will remember to avoid courtyards in my future travels.

The staff was so accommodating to me and my boyfriend! We were on our way to the Texas eclipse festival and didn't arrive at the hotel until 5am due to having issues with the car! They were super kind from the moment we walked in and even lowered the cost of the room since we'd only have it for 5 hours. Then offered a later checkout for 12pm so we could rest a little more. I could go on and on about the amazing experience I had during this stay. The whole team was beyond amazing! I will go out of my way to stay at this exact hotel again. Everything was so clean and the infused water made fresh daily was such a highlight! Thanks again!!
