About Courtyard by Marriott Abilene Southwest/Abilene Mall South
Courtyard Abilene Southwest/Abilene Mall South offers guests a generally pleasant and accommodating experience. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness and well-maintained condition of the hotel, with spotless rooms and common areas that reflect the staff's dedication to upkeep. Guests appreciate the friendly and welcoming staff, who are eager to assist with any needs, including early check-ins and special requests. Despite the positive aspects, some guests noted areas for improvement. Several reviews mention the need for updates, particularly regarding the rooms, furniture, and carpeting. The outdoor pool has been criticized for algae growth, and the grill and fire pit were reported as non-functional. Noise from adjoining rooms can also be an issue due to thin walls. The hotel's location is a significant advantage, being close to various amenities, restaurants, and local attractions, making it convenient for both leisure and business travelers. While the hotel’s policy of accepting only card payments disappointed some guests, overall, Courtyard Abilene Southwest/Abilene Mall South is recommended for its clean accommodations, friendly service, and great location, making it a solid choice for visitors to Abilene, Texas.
