“I'm so happy to have an H-E-B with so many nice people in it and helpful people they r r e doing some freezers in the middle of the store but besides that it's wonderful and I know once it's done it's going to be even better the associates people who work there if you didn't know what associates mean period are so kind I wanted to buy a drink once and the register was closed and one of the ladies went over and make sure I could have the cup so I can go pay it or normal register. Then they have a nice little area to sit and eat or even charge your phone. They have free Wi-Fi you sign on and you agree to their contract not doing anything stupid or illegal. They have good meat great variety good prices and to top it all off the meal deals buy one or two or three items and get like 8 other items free what more can you ask. I know when I used to live in Killeen that was the best part of it now here in Abilene I found my love once again.
Update that I don't live in Abilene anymore, but I have to say this last visit was absolutely amazing. I love every part of it I miss it so much it's literally the best H-E-B that I know of. the customer service here is immaculate and I think all the other HEBs should take pointers from this one customer care, love, concern for others the willingness to move even I've seen people with bad days be so much more happier here I am so thankful for this H-E-B I wish you all were a little bit of everywhere.
(I have to admit my anxiety was really bad when I was in Abilene and I didn't realize it was a day before Thanksgiving a couple years back before the pandemic I had an anxiety attack on the Chip aisle right before Thanksgiving and an employee came and found me help me out and I appreciate that so much if more stores was like that and concern for their customers the world would be a better place.)”
“Best pharmacy in town. The big box stores, CVS, Walgreens, etc. don’t hold a candle to this one.It reminds me of when I was young and went with my mom to the pharmacy when I was sick. Everyone knew everyone and said hello and were so nice and kind.I will never go back to big box unless I absolutely have to.”
“So tired of the people getting angry when they are pulling in or out at the gas station when they are facing the wrong direction. Excuse me sir, don’t honk at me because you are trying to back-in facing the wrong direction and I couldn’t tell. You were the one blocking the whole parking lot with your big truck so people were stopped and having to wait for you to move.”

Want to thank the lady that was walking thru the store talking on her cell phone and hit me in my left hip n said "oh" n kept on going. No Apology or Excuse Me! Nice to know that wen sum1 hits a handicap person, cause pain, n make it harder to walk, they think being ignorant n not apologizing n walking away is ok to them. PUT THE PHONE UP N PAY ATTENTION TO WAT UR DOING N WHER UR WALKING SO U DONT HIT ANOTHER HANDICAP INDIVIDUAL!!”
“I love this store and gas station. Friendly staff, helpful. They take the groceries out of your basket to ring them up, then someone carries them to your car. Very clean store, even the bathrooms are clean. And helpful if you have a question. They care about their customers, us.”
“Only been Once.... But I found prices low and quality high... Lots of unique prepacked, Kwik fix go to meals. Simplifies your shopping when you really don't feel like deciding a quick fix or child's picnic.. Breakfast prepacks as well.. No looking for ingredients all over the store. Or keep a few on hand for backup. Even some meals can be easily prepared by children......I did also lots of healthy choices to throw in a lunch ..

“Incredible customer service. The staff is so friendly and helpful, prices are great, and there’s a personal touch that you can’t get from big chains. We have a baby who has needed lots of different liquid medications over the last year- one of the big chains has been a giant headache trying to get things filled, gave us nasty tasting medicines, wrong size syringes, etc. Every RX I’ve picked up from James McCoy’s has been EASY, top notch service down to every detail, plus they are a compounding pharmacy so they are able to make those liquid medications for our baby taste good. We are huge fans, thank you!!!”

“Walgreens is very convenient and I love the place. But they are pretty pricey. They should work on making beneficial savings on great products that most people use on a regular basis. I believe that Walgreens could out do their selves with just a few marketing changes.”
“I have shopped in all of the Abilene United's and it's my second favorite store here. Selection is good. I is clean, staff is helpful. I know the one on Willis has up front parking for expectant mothers and although that doesn't apply to me, I remember those days and really like that consideration. The only advice I would give is check the expiration dates. Occasionally I find something on shelves past sell by date, but not often. The store brands are good. The bakery and pharmacy are above average. They usually have a chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts in the deli section that is the best! Always a crowd pleaser, but on the expensive side. I would recommend shopping here without hesitation.”

“came to shop and get food! got a combo went to the fountain drinks and they were ALLL out. just ice in one of them and when we went to tell them they said grab a can drink. later we told someone because we felt bad for everyone else that didn’t know because the cashier wasn’t telling anyone. later we over heard someone say “they want us to take down the signs (only 2) on the fountain drink machine” literally didn’t care that people were so confused on why it wasn’t working. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! STEP IT UP especially if we are paying 40+ $$ for memberships!!!”

“I ran out of fuel in the Sam's parking lot, far from the fuel pumps. I went inside and figured if anyone would know how to help me, it would be the tire guys. The guy at the tire desk was super nice and called someone to help. A guy named Jared (pretty sure he was management based on how nicely he was dressed) came to my aid. He grabbed a Jerry can and siphon and came out to my car and put enough fuel in it to get me to the fuel pump. He was super helpful! He had to tell me that it was him personally helping me, not Sam's, for liability purposes, I'm sure. But I can't rave enough on how awesome he was! He was so helpful, especially in 104° temperatures. The man deserves some kind of accolades and recognition! He wouldn't let me pay him, so I hope Sam's will take notice of this incredible employee!”
