“H‑E‑B Fuel has made strides in upgrading their pumps to offer a more modern and efficient fueling experience. However, during my recent visit, I encountered a notable drawback: the lack of sufficient lighting on the updated pumps.
While the enhancements to the pumps themselves were noticeable, the absence of proper illumination made the fueling process less convenient, especially during evening hours or in low-light conditions.
Navigating the pump interface and reading important information became a challenge, potentially leading to inconvenience and frustration for customers.
Despite this setback, H‑E‑B Fuel continues to provide quality fuel and convenient service, and with some adjustments to the lighting, they could further elevate the customer experience.”

“Left my credit card in the gas pump, didn't realize until I needed it to get in the front door of Costco. Went straight to customer service. They called the gas station and someone had already turned it in. Customer service sent a girl to run out to the gas station and pick it up for me. I love this store and all the employees. When I travel, I plan my trips to stop at Costco. I get gas, have lunch, pick up snacks and stretch my legs.”
“What is there to say about this place except that it's a self serve gas station only with no attendant but you must have a sam's card or debit/credit card so lines move along at a good speed as long as everybody behaves themselves.”
“The truth is very good prices and the gasoline performs very well, the truth is I have little buying gas there but it is already my first option, with each easy full tank I save between 4 and 6 dollars. Q in any other”

“Easy access to the main street and also the hwy. I was in need of gas and washer fluid. I went into HEB first and they were sold out, so luckily the fuel center had it. Inexpensive fuel most of the times, so definitely fueling up again when needed.”

“Love this! This HEB has a unique healthy living section, and it's perfect . There aren't too many stores near work; this is the closest to us in the Tobin Hill area. Everything else is either a gas station or taqueria. They offer fresh everything here, along with an assortment of protein snacks, energy drinks, and tons of keto and gluten-free options.”
“Obviously the price for gas here is way better. And I don't know how I feel about the one way thing. I think I'm more for it than against it. I mean it is nice to not have to back up and go around or find myself driving in circles looking for a place to pump. I just simply have to wait in line and knowing that the cars in front of me will simply pull out going the same way. The only thing that I don't like is when I get out and realize my gas tank is on the other side. I mean personally I prefer it to be on the driver side cuz getting out and walking all the way around when I'm paying with card is a little annoying. That's just me being lazy. But regardless when that happens here I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who gets the pump and stretches it across the back of my car to reach the tank. Lol”

It is highly recommended to visit it.”
“This place is great- quick and efficient.. friendly service and probably the only full service gas station you’ll find left in town.. the owner is hard working and seeing his efficiency at the full service gas pumps while checking all the fluids and tire pressures is a lost art, all while working other services and repairs for other cars! “The Managers, Clinton and Becca, helped me out with an issue I had with a purchase I made a couple of weeks ago. They was super friendly and very understanding. They really didn't have to help me, but they did. This HEB is super close to my work. I usually shop at the one in Alamo Heights, but this one is really convenient for stops during and after work. The area is a little sketchy, but the staff and security are always present and attentive. Great management and great employees!”
“My favorite go to for fill ups on gas or Polar Pops. The crew are always friendly and fast. I really enjoy $5 pizza Friday. I pick up my pizza uncooked and take it home to add lots of toppings and cheese, then 15 minutes at 400 degrees for an extra crispy crust. Feeds the four of us with a green salad. Give it a try.”

“It's funny how one day, I visited an H-E-B Plus purely by accident, and it felt like I was in a Fred Meyer up in Washington state. Yet on another day, I visited this H-E-B Market, and it felt like I was in a small, but cozy, Sprouts Farmers Market. That's not to say this was any worse than the H-E-B Plus. In fact, it might be better because it has a more neighborly feel than the larger H-E-B locations I've been to, including the Plus of course.I actually wanted to stop by earlier in my trip because it was closest to my hotel in downtown San Antonio, but one, the parking lot was full when I tried to go the first time, and two, driving around downtown San Antonio is *painfully* slow! Luckily, with this store having such a more relaxing atmosphere in spite of the lack of certain merchandise, I forgot about all the trouble I had driving here, which included a portion of Flores St being blocked off for some reason.This H-E-B is on the southeast corner of Flores and Cesar Chavez Blvd. There is a gas station here, so you can fill up on both groceries and gas here, which is convenient. In fact, this location is closest to the Corporate Office on Main Ave just on the other side of Commanders House Park. I suppose if you want to complain about your experience at this H-E-B Market, you could walk two blocks south to the corporate office, though I wouldn't recommend doing that if it's 100+ degrees outside lol.At a previous H-E-B, I got a coupon for $2.50 off Catalina Crunch cereal. I was hoping to use it at this location, but with how much smaller it was compared to their counterparts, I wasn't surprised that I couldn't find the cereal, even with help from an associate named Robert. The associates, unless they are new, shouldn't have any trouble helping you find what you need. I did, however, find a nice bag of H-E-B trail mix that I thought could have been useful for the trip back home, so I got a bag of that instead.When I went to check out at a self-checkout, my credit card declined! This was the day after the chip on my card got locked up, thus rendering it unusable for the remainder of my trip. Danny, the associate at the self-checkout, saw me expressing my exasperation and didn't hesitate to help. He couldn't get my card to work either, so I had to use a backup card. At first, it didn't work either, but the second time was a charm. I appreciated how he stepped in to help out before I even asked. Remember what I said about neighborly feel? Much appreciated! :)Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by here for all your grocery needs as long as they have what you need; otherwise, you'd have to go to a different location. I also want to mention they have a nice little patio just outside the market so you can enjoy your just purchased food there. I think it's meant for customers getting a pizza at South Flo, but really, you shouldn't have a problem eating anything else there.”

Block away so it's convenient for me. The wall is always updated with artwork and is usually very good! Small store but very well kept up! Open to 11:00 pm most nights with weekends open till midnight. Great stop and go store and gas station. On 24th and Martin streets. Very well lit for your safety.”
