“Went in to check out Lacks inventory and prices. Met Sergio as I walked into the store. Sergio went right to work on me asking me if he could help me find something ? To avoid all the small talk, I told him what I was interested in purchasing. Sergio was cordial in showing me what Lacks was offering and on sale. We discussed some items and he was sure to make me aware of the range of prices . After Sergio's effort in informing of what would best suit me, I did make a purchase of 2 bedroom sets. I could have found something less expensive, but I could have also paid for something more expensive. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase ! Thank you Sergio for your help while shopping at Lacks. “One of the best places to shop for European goods in the McAllen area as there aren't any authentic European markets. A great variety of amenities internationally and kore of what we need here. It's been great since it opened, with rotating stock of a ton of great goodies and wide array of grocery goods in the back. Hope it stays forever.”

“On April 02, we had a refrigerator delivered to our home and they did not install the door handles nor the bottom thing that goes under the refrigerator. They did not explain to us what we were signing and turns out it’s a paper where everything was installed and properly placed. We came into our local Famsa and Lety and another lady explained to us and apologized, they were very considerate about the issue. The warehouse people need to be more aware of these things.”
“We had the best delivery (or should I say pick-up) experience with the crew at The Exceptional. We purchased an unassembled upholstered king size bed which came in 4 boxes. We picked up at the store in boxes as we were taking to our second home in Houston. The crew there opened each box so every single piece could be inspected for damage (there was none). They then carefully repacked all the boxes and loaded into our enclosed truck. It took about 25 minutes from the time we drove up until we drove away, but I must say it was well worth the time spent. They also ran thru the assembly instructions since I would be putting it all together.I don’t how many times things are delivered to your home (never from the Exceptional) and there is an issue with damage followed by the hassles of return or replacement. If every store took the time the Exceptional did, there would be a lot less stress in this world.The four guys helping were all very friendly and accommodating and I can’t say enough about them or the process.Kuddos!Jeff SchmatzMcAllen”
